Valerie: Works great. Love that it has a remote and that I can have it set to turn off after a certain amount of time. It also looks great from the color of the fireplace to the pieces of 'wood' and the 'flames'. Plus it's sturdy so my cats and dogs haven't been able to knock it over.

Noel G.: Shipping was fast. The imitation '3D' fire looks quite realistic at the lower brightness settings, and adds a pleasant ambiance to the room. The metal cabinet looks nice, and quality is good for the price. The plastic legs are sturdy and their colour matches the French grey colour metal cabinet of our heater. Heat output is adequate for supplemental heating of our 600 sq. ft. family room, but 1000 sq. ft. seems like a lot of space for this heater. Overall, we're happy with this heater.

AnnetteAnnette: Really impressed and happy with this small electric fireplace. Good quality and the flame is the best I have seen compared to other products. Heats well and quiet compared to others. I am happy I spent the extra dollars for this one as it doesn’t look cheap compared to others I have seen for less.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: The media could not be loaded.  This has got to be one of my favorite purchases to date. I looked at several faux fireplaces and initially purchased one that was roughly half the price that broke down within 10mn. of turning it on. After returning that garbage with a swiftness I went straight back to Amazon to purchase this heater, and I am so glad I did. 1) it gives out amazing heat, I use it for my bedroom but need to set a timer otherwise I get hot 🥵, I imagine this will work just fine in a larger room/space 2) the digital temperature is pretty accurate and works well at keep the temps as set 3) I love the way it looks, so cozy and inviting 4) it has a timer which is useful at night.

Now the neutral/“bad”, and I quote bad because it’s completely irrelevant to me but may matter to some. The remote is pretty useless, you can’t change the temp on it which I find odd- the only functionality it gives you for the heat is to turn it off while keeping the flames on, weird. I use the remote to turn the heater off from time to time but that’s about it. The panel is digital and the icons are pretty dark, since the remote is useless you kind of have to feel out...

ReadyForThe80s: I've had my black one for a month so far and I still love it. At the strongest heat level, the top only gets SLIGHTLY warm. I can comfortably keep my hand on it even after it running for an hour. I think it's well made and the door and feet are made of plastic but the rest is metal.
This thing is only for looks. It doesn't heat up a room too much and unless you're sitting close to it, you won't feel hardly any heat.
The heater is quiet. To me, it sounds a bit more quieter and softer than a blow dryer at the lowest setting being used in the next room or as loud as my oven's convection fan. The fake flames' motor is fairly quiet too and barely delectable from across my medium-sized kitchen. It's a low hum/buzz.
I take off one star because I think it needs more fake logs in it for a more realistic look. I'm going to add some real ones as well as buy furniture risers. I also wish the temperature could be adjusted with the remote instead of just being on/off.

Ten months later and sttill a 4-star item -
This is still working as well as the day I got it. I often keep the flames on when I'm in the kitchen for that cosy look but I don't use the heating feature that often...

ASX: I am totally in love with this fireplace heater! I bought it two weeks ago but it was out of stock so only arrived five days ago. Even though it's been cold I was willing to wait because I just loved the look of this one and I'm so glad I did.

Between the metal construction, the beveled glass and the 3D flame effect the quality of this heater is very high, especially for the price. The unit is sturdy but not so heavy that you couldn't move it to another room if you wanted (though I wouldn't want to be constantly moving it from room to room either, this should probably have one specific spot but you could change it up occasionally). The legs are plastic which helps keep the weight down. But since the majority of the body is metal it really gives that legitimate old fashioned stove fireplace feel which I love. A plastic body wouldn't have had the same effect.

The beveled glass on the operable door and the glass on the sides also both add to that realistic feel. I think the beveling, because it's between you and the flame effect, heightens the realism because it distorts the light somewhat.
