Until I saw a small and almost clear ring in the negative side of the battery.
Once I scrapped it off, it works fine....I hope.

I've found them to be dependable. I use them in my watch and they last between 5 and 6 years. Plus they have I believe a 10 year shelf life. So, the second battery in the 2 pack I bought will still be good to go as a replacement after the first one gets used up.

I needed a replacement for my Toyota Rav4 Key Remote. These were a good price for a dependable brand. I believe they will last a long time. The child safety features were a selling point for me. I do not want my little children ingesting these things after some of the news stories I have heard of kids dying after swallowing these types of batteries. These have child-safe packaging as well as a bitter tasting coating to make them less of a danger to kids. I would pay extra to have those features.
