John D.John D.: I am not a professional but I have experience using epoxy resin to make carbon fiber parts.
MPC 1000 was easy to use and I am more than happy with the final product. My one major complaint is that, in two orders , the hardener was short both times. Because of space constraints I had to do the floor in sections over 3 days. I weighed each component using a laboratory scale (11kg max, +/- .005g accuracy) and in both cases I had over a 1/4 of a gallon of epoxy (part A/ big tub) left over after the hardener was empty. At $200 per order this represents a significant loss.

Ramon C.: I was a little concerned about the negative reviews. I called the seller, they returned my call very quickly, after explaining the concerns I read from negative reviews, Alex explained the directions for mixing and applying. My wife in I applied 6 gallons to 650 square foot office and it went great. Easy to distribute with a squeegee and rolled with an 18” and 9”, 1/4 nap rollers. 6 gallons was more than enough, we had material left over that we layout out in high traffic areas. Temperature was around 70 degrees F, we did not have to rush. Just do not keep it in bucket too long, if you have to, mix it every few minutes.

kim k: One container leaked and black slippery epoxy was all over both containers. They are wrapped in plastic together so that kept mess from spreading. - until I tried to open it. It was a huge mess - all over me and everything else. Box says to check for damage before accepting but it was left on porch, I didn’t have a chance to look at it before delivery person left. Also due to the mess, I couldn’t tell where leak was coming from, damage or unsealed lid. I have used this product before with no issues. Hopefully this was a one off.

AshleyAshley: I have been working with (deep pour) epoxy for many years & I was still very intimidated by this flooring project! I bought one kit for my small cabin & planned for months researching if it would be enough product, figuring out the pour technique, colors etc. I hope this review helps!

I purchased a second 3 gallon kit last minute before starting & so glad I did!

One of these kits is EXACTLY enough to cover 240sqft lol. But only ONE coat.

Mixing the first batch, I added a white epoxy dye & used a squeegee to spread the first layer...then started mixing the second batch while still wet. This first coat is necessary to do a dirty pour technique to help it blend & flow. The second, mixed batch, I divide into smaller buckets with different mica powder colors added. Dumped each color into a larger bucket and did a dirty pour. Turns out for a full, complete dirty pour, u need LOT of epoxy. I could have used a couple more kits tbh for that method. I ended up doing the dirty pour, but not with as much coverage as needed...so I just poured out everything I had, every last bit in all the buckets and colors...at this point it was very random and I was...
