YlDutchmanYlDutchman: The high pressure supply line nipple on my pool sweep broke completely off. I didn’t want to buy a new pool sweep because they are over $800. It was a pretty clean break so I thought I would try this JB Weld. I mixed it up and “glued” the break and added a nice bead around the break for extra strength. It’s a “quick dry” formula but I let it cure for 48 hours because of the high pressure hose and harsh pool chemicals. It’s been two months since the fix and my pool sweep is still working perfectly. I like the fact that this product is a two component activation mix because I only mixed what I needed for this job. The rest of the tubes stayed soft and pliable for my next project. Other Pre-mixed products I’ve used seem to setup and harden after opening the tube. Shipping was fast as promised and I feel this product is a GREAT VALUE compared to buying a new pool sweep.

bandwidthb: I've used this product many times and purchase again when I run out or it ages. Only drawback is that it is a little messy to use. But for my need the small quantity means I don't waste too much. It is especially good at repairing plastic items. But note that the repair is not invisible and shows even when painted. With that in mind, be selective where you use it.

On the underside I mixed a small amount and waited to dry 5. min. Re installed sink, the next day i tested the sink for leakage and it was fixed for ever. The cost I paid for the J&B saved me $170.00 plus. I can't wait to use it for other repairs

Sarah Abbott: It's really easy to use. Very smelly, so you need a window open as it's very strong. It's very easy to mix. Good value. Sticks in 6 minutes. it's so very strong. No leakage, but be careful as it could cause problems if you get it on you.
