PG: I can only use this slide on my 3rd or 4th fingers - it's very narrow. My fingers are pretty average - certainly not chunky. After a few minute's playing, the hands need a bit of a wash as the residue is quite noticeable. A bit like the colouration on the finger ends from many types of electric guitar strings.
The sound is nice and mellow - not as sharp a glass slide would be.

smcg: This slide is just slightly tighter than the chrome version it can be bought with which is a shame because the chrome one fits me perfectly but this gets a little restrictive and i can't put it all the way down my finger without a push.
That being said not all hands are like my hands and this slide sounds great, especially when used with my acoustic.

ArtIsImportant: As a woman guitarist, it's hard to find a slide that fits my size 7 ring finger. This is a size 9 and fits my middle finger pretty well.

Goffik: I'm perfectly happy with this slide. Made of solid brass with a nice shiny finish, though this of course gets scuffed up the moment you start using it. I would say I have average sized fingers, and this slide fits nicely on my ring finger, resting around the second joint. It sounds great in use, and that's coming from someone who is far from proficient in slide guitar.

For the money, you probably won't find better.

Sondra Stanley: It's a little big yet for my 12 yr old grandson but it's brass and very durable. Right now it fits one of his fingers but will be more comfortable on a different finger. He'll grow into it and it should last for years to come. Meanwhile, it fits my finger quite nicely, so we'll both get use out of it. It's a great value and I'll certainly buy again, perhaps in brass again and possibly also in glass.

Doug: There is nothing really wrong with it except that I am an average sized male and it is tight on my pinky finger. I was looking for either Index or ring finger size. I missed understood with the word medium all around. I am not sending it back, it is very nice. I am not sure he how you dampen with the pinky finger, but other people do it. Read carefully.

Public name (required): It works for me. Fits all the way on the pinky and leaves 1 knuckle on the ring. I'm teaching myself to play both fingers. I have skinny fingers though. If you have those workin' man sausage fingers you may want to size up, and remember that if your knuckle is wider than your finger then don't use your actual ring size.

That's the only consideration. It's well made out of brass and the price is right. I was worried about whether to get glass or brass or whatever else but eventually I will get the rest so this was a good start for me and I am satisfied.
