DonnaJ: I got this because we had a heavy-duty electrical cord that the outer covering had gotten damaged, about 6 feet of it. The inside cords were fine, no damage at all.
We got the cord wrapped and it works just fine. The tape did an excellent job. One wrapping covered it well, but we will be doing a second, just to be safe.
This provided more than enough to cover the item twice with it.

I have to post 2 caveats with this review. I have used this product for electrical work. I know this may sound obvious when you are reviewing electrical tape, but I see a lot of people using this for pickleball paddles, modifying furniture, building keyboards and everything else under the sun. That's awesome if you need electrical tape for one of those purposes, but I have not tested this for any application other than taping electrical connections. The 2nd caveat is that I see they also have a 5 pack that is multi-colored. It's possible that some of the critiques of that 5 pack might be valid but might not apply to the traditional black electrical tape. I have only used the black one, which is why I have included the product code in my review.
REVIEW:
In my experience, electrical tape is extremely important. From a safety point of view, I will generally only trust this Duck brand and 3M. This specific tape has proven to be reliable and works exactly as I expect it to.
In terms of adhesion, electrical tape in general is not meant to be super sticky. It's not uncommon to have to tape and untape connections within a short period of time,...
