Quent: This is a really good value electric tape. It replaced the 1700 series. Rated to 32F anything lower go with the 3M 33+. Really good for general use like bundling wires or taping them up to pull through ducts

Lab Lover: I admit it, I have bought my share of the crappy tape because by nature, I am.... thrifty, my wife uses a different word. Never again, this 3M tape is outstanding. Been using it for about 8 months in a very warm, sunny region and it really holds up to the high temperatures and strong UV rays. There is no noticeable deterioration to the material or the adhesive, if anything the adhesive is adhering even better than when I applied the tape.

Additionally, the tape tears apart with just the right amount of effort and then recovers most of the way so that the ends of the tape stick together just as well as the rest of the tape. It never gets very cold here so I cannot attest to how well it adheres in frigid temperatures but, it's a 3m product and I have little doubt it will preform very well in the cold as well.
