DROK 100-300V 100A Digital LCD Multimeter - Volt Amp Meter Gauge Panel Tester

Darryl & JohnDarryl & John: I recently deployed a new Wen 7KW inverter generator and I wanted to be able to monitor the load. These little guys are well suited to the job. Shown in the pic is right after I spooled it up and tied to the buss. Thus it is showing a pretty small load. As soon as I started cutting in systems they registered very accurately when compared to my amp clamp.

Definitely worth repeating that these are not typical DIY items. If you don’t have a good working knowledge of electrical systems you could definitely do yourself harm or worse, burn down your house. Playing with line AC is no joke.

Also as noted by others, you can calibrate them. I used a rig on my workbench powering a heat gun which pulls about 10 amps. Matched the Drok meters to what my amp clamp was telling me and they are now dead nuts. Simple!

The only thing now is longevity. Hope they last!

Hurricane season is here so there is a chance I’ll put this system to real time use (versus testing for an hour)

Scott G.Scott G.: These work very well; accuracy against an expensive RMS meter is generally within 1-2% when I tested. Replaced analog meters on the panel. Only problem I had was that I put two displays side-by-side in my service panel, (2 electrical services on the boat), and the back light was quite different on the second one. Amazon was very helpful in helping replace one so that the brightness was the same for both.

Fathi: Great product, voltage is accurate at 122 volt . i used Fluke clamp meter with calibration certificate to compare the measurements.
Fluke and Drok reads both 122V AC but Amps read lower around ~ 0.9A sometimes ~0.3A
Fluke reads 9.9A while Drok reads 9A.
Fluke reads 11.3A while Drok reads 11.0A.
This Digital Voltage Current meter usually will be mounted with same level of person's eyes or above, but it is blurry when it mounted above 45 degrees of your eyes. thus this product should be mounted at your eyes level or lower to get best view, it is still ok if you mounted above your eyes level but not more than 45 degrees.
- Since the wires of transformer are green, the transformer input should be (Green Terminal) not blue. The (measure voltage) is green which makes some electricians confused and easy to have error connections.
I like this product and it great. I will update the review if any thing arises.

Eeemaster: I've bought a few of these already for controllers I build. The difference between this and another one sold by another place is this once has the circuit board covered and the power supply has actual screw connectors. This is a top quality product that I recommend never had an issue with one of these yet.

rkruz: The GOOD:
* Worked as expected first time.
* Easy to install with built-in connectors with wire holding screws.
* The terminal connectors open large enough with screws to accept 14 AWG romex house wire.
* I cut out a rectangle in a switch plate to hold the meter. The meters bezel will lock in place securely with snap in tabs on either size. You have to cut out a small notch on each side of the rectangle to accept the tabs.
* There is a schematic on the back indicating how to connect it. Very easy.

Chris R: My previous RV (a 30 amp hookup) had a factory installed ammeter display that kept us informed of the electrical load we were using. We became accustomed to checking the electrical draw that each of our appliances had, and were able to manage the hot water heater, the space heaters, the microwave, the coffee maker, and other items knowing we were not at risk of popping the camp pedestal breaker (a real drag when it''s cold and/or raining and you have to go out to reset it).
Our new to us 50 amp coach did not feature a helpful factory ammeter display. So, I bought two of these ammeters to install in my RV, one on each leg of the service entrance to the 120v breaker box. Now I can see what voltage the camp pedestal is delivering before closing my main breakers and I can also monitor how well our AC usage is balanced between the two legs in the coach.
The electrical connections are simple, no solder clamps. They tighten down with a small slot screwdriver and hold well. The CT ammeter coils are large enough to encircle the biggest wire size anyone would reasonably use, and work flawlessly on the 8 ga wires in my application.

Dsinned: Last year, I bought several of these on Ebay, but they did not come with the snap-on plastic enclosure. This one does and that is an important new safety feature. This one still works just like those earlier units, but the new case makes it much easier and safer for mounting purposes.

The one criticism I have is that the pair of wires on the current sensor (coil) are not nearly long enough for most applications. They should be AT LEAST 18" long. If too long for the application, just cut them to length and restrip.

My application for this meter was to replace the cheap analog Voltmeter on the control panel of a portable gas generator. I hooked up the current sensor, so I can monitor the current drawn by either the 230V or one duplex pair of 120V outlets or two out of 3 at the same time. It was just too much extra work to connect all 3 at the same time using just one current sensor and meter. I connected the meter's digital voltmeter to the 240V outlet, but it reads the voltage correctly at either outlet depending on which position the generator's 120/240V switch is set to. In the 120V position it reads "120V". In the 240V postion it reads 240V. In the 240V position...
