Andrea Jackson: After returning 2 clock radios as hard to program or just didn't work, it was a joy to take this out of the box and be able to set it up instantly. The controls are intuitive and easy to grasp. The display is fine and the reception is fine. It really is a "decent" alarm clock. The only complaint I have is that I can't program the radio to remember several stations. (On the other hand, an unexpected extra feature: it shows the room temperature).

Bret D: This alarm clock is very intuitive. Alarm time is easily set. Original model I had I could turn the dimmer all the way down and I could still see the time but it didn’t ‘shine’ real bright to wake me up. The newer model goes completely black when the dimmer is all the way down. So it’s adjustable from completely black to super bright and everywhere in between.

Kindle Customer: The radio has very good sound. I mainly bought this clock because it has a small lever in the back to dim or brighten the light it gives out, which is great.
The alarm setting takes some getting used to. It’s like a three step process of different buttons and arrows
and it took me several tries if reading the directions to get the alarm set. Not a problem if you pretty much get up at the same time each day and don’t have to keep resetting it, but I need to set it at different times during the week. Just a few extra steps with this clock.

milan g: I tried out other clock radio's and this one is the best. The dimmer can be adjusted all the way down to the point where it can't be seen. Other clocks have low, medium and high which might as well as be called night lights. The alarm radio volume can be set to level 1 which is barely audible. I have mine set to level 2. The alarm is a gradual volume type so it'll start at level 1 and increase to 2 on my setting ( radio, not buzzer ). Perfect!!! Other clocks all have a loud level one. I found the color of the display light which is orange/yellow much more soothing on the eyes when compared to blue/red versions. The display numbers are a BOLD version which makes it easy to see from a distance. The clock is compact which saves space on my night table. The clocks buttons are not as multi-purpose when compared to other clock radio's, so this makes it easier to learn and navigate. The one button hit to shut the alarm off is a bonus too. Another great feature is that the alarm setting display is also visible in the lower bottom right corner. Love this clock. The price is more which is the only drawback, but it's worth it.
