ヤッターマン: 今まで、毎日コーヒーを飲むために、手動のコーヒーミルで豆をひいていました。
何回も回してひくので、たいへん手が疲れるため、電動ミルを購入しました。
さすがに電動だから、早くて楽に豆をひくことができます。
しかし、朝早くから家の中でひくと、少しうるさいです。
また、コードがたいへん固いから、もう少し柔らかいコードであったら良かったと思います。

Gawaine: I've been using the grinder now for about 4 months and am very happy with it. I wanted it to grind nuts for making nut roasts and burgers and it does the job very well. Whole nuts or large pieces need 2 or 3 short bursts to chop fairly fine. Pre-chopped nuts need just a few seconds for a very fine grind. (I use a mixture in my recipes). The reason I chose this model is because you can remove the grind bowl completely for washing, which means if you also want to grind coffee beans, any residual odour can be completely removed between uses.

Chainplate: This grinder will grind about one ounce of coffee in about 10 seconds (I brew 16 ounces of coffee at a time) and there will be no ‘old maids’ (unground whole beans). However, this grinder has two caps - one for the grinder cup and one to start the grinding process. Heaven help you if you forget to put the cap on the grinder cup - don’t ask me how I know but suffice it to say that it’s a really bad way to start a morning.

Stephen S: Purchased to grind coffee beans for espresso machine.
Works fine but will only do two cups at a time. Also the size of scoop provided makes it awkward to scoop out all the grounds from the bottom of the rather small container.
(Previous De Longhi grinder was larger and easier to scoop out; on the plus side - tis mean we have to grind fresh every time we use the espresso machine rather than use leftovers from last time!)

C. Ritchey: I purchased this grinder to replace an older Mr Coffee grinder that was wearing out. I primarily use the grinder to prepare beans for cold brew, but I have also used it to grind beans for my single cup machine. I have no problem grinding up to 3/4 cup of beans at a time and I find that the removable grinding cup is a perfect size to pour the grinds into my cold brew filter, without spilling any. The beans are usually ground to perfect after 8 seconds and this machine is quieter than my old one. Win Win!

alexa: I took time to find the one that would meet my needs. This grinder is just what I needed. very pleased.
1. Tap lightly on the top when using. It just needs a light touch to chop nuts. Press and hold for powder. Could always be used to chop or make a powder out of dehydrated vegetables' as well. I only need a small amount at a time so this works great for me. If your doing a larger then a two person batch then you will need a grinder with a larger container.
2.It came with the scraper/brush tool. The scraper works great for getting out chopped food. The brush worked great for getting every bit of powder out.
3.For cleaning I put in a drop of dish soup then used the sink sprayer to clean and rinse. The sprayer cleans it perfectly with no need to get my fingers near the blades. All the reviews I read said the blades are very sharp so I do whats needed to keep my fingers out of the container.
4.If you lose the brush/scraper you can replace it with the same size/width painters brush found everywhere. The scraper can often be found in the beauty section of any store because it's made to scrape out small jars.
5. I didn't find the motor noise loud at all. The most noise...

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I rarely write reviews but this grinder is worth it.

I had a problem with a seasoning mix I purchased that had too much salt in it and big seeds that stick in teeth. I sifted out the salt and put only the seeds in the grinder (big 1/2 cup capacity by the way, and that's just up the suggested 'max' fill line. There is actually more space). After only about 20 SECONDS it had completely pulverized the seeds into THE FINEST of fine powder. The internal cup is neatly covered by an inner cap that keeps everything in - no escaping dust into the rest of the unit. Fully clear top makes it easy to see the progress as it grinds - so you can stop it at exactly the coarseness you prefer. Good length cord also (42 inches) - and you can neatly wrap any extra around the spindle hidden under the base.

*TIP - I found that tilting the unit slightly (5-10 degrees) helped kick the seeds up off the bottom of the internal cup a bit more for very finest powder. There is just a tiny gap under the blades for clearance - as it should. So holding it at a little of an angle does the trick. Perfection.

I wouldn't waste your time comparing to other models. This is the one.
