wpettit: I use Koji to emulate dry aging beef and pork. Koji is hard, and I found it difficult, if not impossible, to get a fine grind in an expensive food processor, having then to pulverize it with a meat hammer. On a whim, I decided to try this grinder. I was amazed that it gave me teh fine powerdy grind I needed with only a few 2 to 5 second pulses. Even if it only lasts a couple of weeks, I think it was worth the cost for a single purpose machine!

Azalynn: this is a great grinder, grinds evenly and consistently, I had one grinder I used for 13 years, and it was great, until the lid broke, then I bought a second one ... hated it. It barely could grind a lid worth, this one you can fill it's lid twice and grind it at once and it comes out perfect. It's super quiet. If you have light sleepers, or night shift workers you won't wake them with your morning grind! and it is aesthetically pleasing. All around great product!
