R C Smith: I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the full picture of the history of this subject and where Dr. Joel Wallach fits in.

Amazon Customer: A "mind-boggling" authoritative piece of literary work.
Surely, this is one of the most comprehensive and detailed publications around with respect to the different schools of medical thought, the politics of treatment modalities, and the successes and failures to cure appurtenant to the differing approaches to health- and sickness-care.

JeriOwl: If I could only own one book, it would have to be Epigenetics by Dr Joel Wallach DVM ND, his wife Dr. Ma Lan MD OMD and the Biomedical Nutritionist Dr. Gerhard Schrauzer PhD (who unfortunately passed away 5 months after Epigenetics was published in 2014...) You may ask "Why?" It's simple - the information contained within is worth it's weight in gold. Epigenetics should be read by every medical professional, every pet professional, every parent and most importantly by everyone who owns a human body.

Epigenetics shines light in the dark recesses of the Big Pharma deception - that many "chronic illnesses" that we take for granted today are actually a result of common nutritional deficiencies. Since Medical Professionals rarely take a course in basic Nutrition 101 in medical school, how can they be expected to understand even the very basic of "diseases of yesteryear" such as Beriberi, Rickets, Scurvy or Pellagra? (deficiencies of Vitamin B1 - Thiamin, D, C and B3 - Niacin respectively.. though D is mislabeled as a vitamin when it is truly a hormone!) Folate deficiency results in abnormally large red blood cells... could this be contributing to the seeming pandemic of...

egflm: Well I am still wading through it..a lot of history which is interesting and pads out the book somewhat but Joel Wallach is one of the great naturopath doctors of this century..what makes him unique is that his a certified clinician and a vetenarian, so anybody who is informed our pets eat more nutritional food than most humans and several chronic dis-eases that humans are suffering with now have already been cured in the animal world. The other advantage with such text is that Gerhard Schrauzer a long time friend of Joel Wallach helped write this book. Dr Schrauzer is a leading expert in the mineral selenium which is one the most important minerals in the human body. Finally for those out there who are still believing the myth that Gene inheritance isstuck in stone and we are unable to reexpress our inherited genes than this an important read for you.

Giora Zeevy: DR Mortimer. I guess that you either did not read the book at its entirely or that your Allopathic education that has poor education at nutrition caused you to be blind. The entire book after showing how in history the accepted by agreement of science changed again and again (Should I mention Copernicus, Galileo, and lately the Fat/cholesterol Theory/scam) and how now how the theory of Genetics decide it all and the Newtonian model are replaced by Epigenetic. As it seems that you need a refresher, Dr. Wallach contribution for it is by researching, practice and creating a health model that based on providing the body the right and proper nutrition that the body needs so the body, by intervention (the nutrition) can heal itself within the genetic frame. As Dr. Wallach explain (and you can also check "The Biology of Belief" "You are your own Placebo" and many other books what Epigenetic is.

Now to the "proof " side. I dont know how many people you cured from their diseases, and I assume that you did not cure anybody as Western medicine or the MD medicine is not trying to cure. You manage symptoms. You prescribe Medication to symptoms and hope that they will go away. You do not...

Jose Fernandes: It is written in a strange way. The subject is very interesting, the saga should be transformed in a movie, a big one or a TV serie.I think the book sequence is not the best. He is a good story teller but I think is not a very good teacher. However he uses one teacher's technique, is telling the same over and over again. For a movie only needs a bit of his personal life that I'm sure it was another saga.
