Mr David L Peters: Good little log but would benefit from page numbers and a couple of blank index pages. That would make it easier to find wines that you have rated.

Elle: We love our wines and are currently learning about them. So this book is ideal to jot down the wines are that you enjoy and the ones you don’t, great information at the beginning of the book.

Brigitte Haberl: This little journal is the perfect size to take on a wine tasting. Comes with an aroma wheel which is handy when you just can't find the right term.

Steve K: This book was our Bible and diary on a wine-tasting trip to Santa Barbara County! While we were shocked how many different wines we tasted, we loved keeping track of them all in this book and referring back to them. Great journal!

Jerol Fanta: If you are looking for a full size booklet to write in, look further. This is so small it will tuck into an individual "wine slot" of a wine rack. I wanted full size but got this.
Besides that, it is a nice book with some interesting information and seems sturdy.

Owen M. McKinney: I waited before writing this so I could provide an insightful evaluation via actual usage. I've done 10 different wines with this journal. It works. It provides enough space to really get a sense of a particular wine.
First it is small enough to fit in a pocket or a purse. It might be small, but it can record 178 wines per journal. One page is provided for each wine. The top portion provides enough fill-in-the-blanks to successfully identify the wine from name to vintage, producer, country/region, price, date tasted, grape(s), importer, and alcohol %.
In the middle section, there are 8 wine characteristics that you can record with scales that you simply circle with your evaluation. It's simple, easy, and you will not forget an important consideration of the wine.
The bottom section gives you space to record aromas and tastes. There is space for comments on vintage, region, winemaker, or maybe what food you paired with it. Maybe the location or event is special to you. Finally you can note whether you recommend the wine, or not.
The journal is a sturdy hardback. There is a ribbon to mark locations, and an elastic band to hold it closed. It looks far more...

Jen PDX: My boyfriend and I started getting into wine several months ago, but we were having a hard time remembering which wines we enjoyed. He said we should start writing them down, and I looked on Amazon and found this little notebook! Something I really like is that it gives you tasting information in the front of the book, and each entry section clearly outlines the different points you should be thinking about when reviewing a wine. I also really like how this is a fun activity we do together, and how it gets us thinking about what we’re drinking. Already planning on ordering another one when we fill this one up!

Ben: This is a great way to keep track of what wines you drink! I’m (leisurely) studying for my Level 1 Sommelier certification and this little book comes in handy. I can look back on different wines I’ve tried to recall the different flavors and my reaction to them. It’s a valuable resource that I will continually fill up with new wines and come back to for study and comparison.
The ribbon that was attached to the spine to hold your place broke off after just a few weeks of mild use. For a resource that is designed to be used over a long amount of time (I add a new wine only about once a week), I expected a higher quality. The elastic strap that keeps the book closed has been excellent quality so far. I’ve been using it for four months.
