The Instep Quick-N-EZ Double Tow Behind Bike Trailer is an ideal choice for parents looking for a safe and secure way to transport their children. This trailer easily converts to a stroller, jogger, or 2-in-1 canopy, and comes with a universal bicycle coupler and folding frame. It has been rated one of the best Child Carrier Trailers based on its ease of set up, overall satisfaction, build quality, and capacity. It features 16-inch pneumatic tires with molded rims for superior performance and safety, and a five-point harness to ensure riders are properly secured in both tow and stroller mode.Theresa: I bought this for my daughter to connect to her bicycle and she takes her 2 year old son out for rides pretty much daily twice a day and he loves his cart and it is a double cedar so he can take his cousin

Kasandra Bliss: My kids were so excited when I got this. It was pretty simple to put together - my 5 year old even helped.
-It easily hooks and unhooks from my bike.
-We only ride down sand country roads and it has held up GREAT.
-Love the orange color as it's easy to see when riding down the road.
-It holds my 30lb 2 year old and 40lb 5 year old together. (even though the weight limit says it's lower than that)
-I love the option of putting the wheel on front to use as a stroller. I had to use it one day when my bike broke to push my kids 1 mile back to my house.

Devan Borsboom: Amazing, except we received a green colour instead of teal…Not a big deal, but we were looking forward to the cute teal colour. Our 3 year old loves it!!

Smile.MJSmile.MJ: Came packaged nicely. Super easy set up and really easy once you do it a couple times. I’ve used this in the rain, winter and hot days. Although the material is not waterproof it protects pretty well as the water glides off if you’re going fast in bike mode. During winter the clear window offers great protection from the wind in bike mode again. During summer in bike mode the kids get a good breeze and there is enough exposed framework to attach portable fans. Straps are easy to adjust and the side push buttons release is easy especially when I have long nails.
Tip- when adding the handlebar for stroller mode, unsnap the fabric from
The back, add the handlebar and snap back.
Easy to clean if you need too. I left mine for a couple days on car roof in a roof bag and it rained and water for in. The material did look like it was developing some mold. It was pretty easy to remove the inner seat to wash and the out shell was scrubbed and dried with a air blower.
The tension of the seat is adjustable as there is a bottom strap that adjusts, see red arrow in my pic. So as kids get older it can be loosened and give older kids more room.
The back pocket holds...

matt goldhawk: Finally posting a review after 3 years of use. The unit has held up great. Bought this when our kids were aged 2 and 5, now 5 and 8. The 8 year old is obviously to big to fit in it any more, (both have learned how to ride their own bikes now) but could still fit the 5 year old. Great set up for 2 kids under 6, after that it gets crowded. Material has held up really good, with slight fade, and a little wear at the bottom where the kids feet would be placed. Frame and Wheels have held up. Connecting to your bike is very easy and just uses one bolt, with a safety strap. Unit is very quite when being towed. Folds down nice for storage!!

Sam Rox Da BoxSam Rox Da Box: The idea behind a trailer/stroller combo is pretty fantastic. In theory, it allows a reasonably athletic parent to haul 2 <5yo children and all their gear a couple of miles in comfort and safety without having to worry about parking or negotiating public transit. Then on arrival at the playground, museum, grocery store or other destination, it becomes a full featured stroller. For a certain cachet of urban parents, the top-of-the-line Thule Chariot, which retails for $1200, is the ultimate responsible parenting accessory. So how does the instep trailer, costing almost $1000 less, stack up? And how does it stack up against it's more reasonably priced competitors like the $400 Burley Honey Bee?
Short answer, this trailer stroller works. It hauls, it strolls, it switches between them. Long answer, it doesn't do these things as well or as reliably. And it has a few maddening quicks and shortcuts to save on production costs.
Setup: the instep is fairly easy to set up, especially if you're comfortable assembling bike and baby equipment. Build quality and materials aren't fantastic, but everything works. There are lots of snap buttons and velcro where competitors use...

JM: I bought this bike trailer for children under 7. I fit it on a cruiser bike using the supplied equipment and it seemed very well-attached. It is easy to fold and store, and it fit well in the van.
It was not used heavily, just for fun around the driveway on occasion, but after about a year of use, it disconnected the rare time we used it on the road—that’s right; it came off of the bike connector and the children were suddenly not connected to the bike, on the road. Luckily, they were not in danger as there were no vehicles around. But it was not at all a situation you’d expect or want with a bike trailer, and I’m not sure what went wrong. The equipment was stored in a clean, dry barn and there was supposed to be a safety strap from trailer to bike for this exact just-in-case scenario; it apparently fell off somewhere.
The trailer is big enough for two small children and one small bag in the narrow “trunk” compartment. The bottom is not solid; I’d describe it as fabric-covered cardboard. It is a nice, bright color. Kids love it. But I don’t think it’s safe overall considering that it broke with light use and good storage after only one year.
