The Burley Honey Bee Child Trailer is the perfect choice for parents looking for a safe, reliable, and easy-to-use child carrier trailer. With its folding-frame design and quick-release wheel, assembly is a breeze. The 16-inch pneumatic tires with molded rims provide superior performance, while the lightweight steel construction ensures durability and quick release. Enjoy the best in Child Carrier Trailers with the Burley Honey Bee.Zach: this rolls super easily. works great as a stroller. only complaint is if there is too much weight in the storage in the back, the stroller will lift the front wheel when the kids get out. Towing behind my bike is very easy. it is skinnier than I realize, so I make wide turns much larger than actually needed. it is super handy to have the space for snacks, and the kids seem to love riding in the trailer!

Katarina StewartKatarina Stewart: Absolutely love it! We will take it for walks where its easy to push and maneuver, smooth ride! Will go on a jog/run, although im not super fast it still handles well even with a swivel wheel! Even with Bob stroller i used to have I preferred to keep the wheel in swivel mode so it doesnt both me at all. Only wish there was padding across the whole handle bar so you can hold it in the middle when using one hand. We frequently go on bike rides and the kids chill and fall asleep in it all the time! I have a 4yr old and 1 yr old. I was worried my 4 year old wouldnt fit cause hes a little taller but he has a few inches of head space and the fit comfortably side by side!

Carol Nickens: The Amazon package arrived quickly, sadly the box exterior cardboard was damaged in several places, but fortunately, the contents were not. The stroller/trailer is VERY nice! So pleased!!! It seemed rather easy to put together, but I had to call Burley to get support about turning the extremely stiff stroller wheel and connecting the stiff hood bars - it required my husband's help (strength) one side grip at a time underhanded. The pleasant Burley rep assured me that assembling will not be a struggle once it gets used & she suggested we leave it assembled for a few days to stretch the fabric before collapsing it. If we run into problems she suggested we reach out to a local Burley distributor (REI, Dicks, Bike Shops)... or contact Burley again. Fully assembled as a stroller, it is lightweight and I was able to easily get it into my van. Haven't collapsed it yet to see how it does with the storage space. I would not use it as a dog crate for safety reasons. It only has velcro and 2 plastic side hooks to keep the front cover down... no zipper. Perhaps Burley or others will create a bike trailer/stroller for pets and kids combining all the features to accommodate both types of...

Anon1Anon1: Things I love.
1.Its easy to assemble and collapse. Although it's still pretty big when collapsed.
2. It's got pockets inside for my little ones snacks and drinks.
3. Lots of space in the back for shopping.
4. Easy to attach and detach from the bike.
5. My little one assures me that she doesn't feel the bumps when it goes over the many many potholes in the roads of my town.
6 it's an odd thing to love but I love that when the front wheel is down it prevents you from attaching to the bike. If it didn't have that I would be that person who leaves the front wheel in position and wonders why it falls off.
7. It's actually pretty nice to push as a pram. (Until you get to a curb)
Don't
1. Today I left it out in the rain. Not even a heavy rain by British standards and it leaked through the roof onto my child's seat. I think this is because the material that was really tight when I first got it (one month ago) has quickly become saggy so the water pooled and dripped through. I have returned it for this reason. I am hoping for more luck with the next one.
2. my little one seems hunched over. She's fine but I wish I could adjust the seat.

Mel: I've used it for a week so far as a bike trailer and stroller. Hooks up to bike very easily and rides great. Only thing I don't like much is that there is no angle to the seat which can be uncomfortable if your child falls asleep, especially with a helmet on. The space between the straps isn't very big to allow the helmet to rest comfortably.
If they make a version where they make an inflatable/swivle front wheel I would be the first customer.

Erin G.: Update 2023: Just started using this again this spring. I haven't used it as much as a bike trailer, but it continues to function great as a running stroller. It's one drawback is when our child drops thing, they often can't reach it, which can be frustrating on a run. Nevertheless, it is spacious, especially just for one child, and really light. The other drawback is that it's shape can catch the wind like a scoop, making it really hard to run into the wind with; even with the cover fully on it doesn't quite effectively let wind through, making running in high winds frustrating. But overall, the product is running very smooth with no issues, and it's lightweight and ease of use on runs make it generally a pleasure to run with.
We bought another stroller which is good, but then we bought this stroller as a bike trailer. So we were shocked when we used it as a stroller, and in some ways, it out performed our running stroller. It catches wind so make sure the shield is down. But it is so much lighter than my other running stroller - no problem running 10K with it. We've also used it as a bike trailer. It's great. One of our best purchases.

Amazon Customer: A really good quality trailer. Great features and well ventilated. Ventilation was super important because we all know that strollers and trailers etc can be hot boxes for our little ones, especially when having to wear a helmet. I actually roll up the back cover flap for max airflow because the top of the headrest is mesh so air can flow right through in a straight line. This was the primary reason I selected this trailer above the other brands and models. Only downside is the helmet still doesn't fit in the mesh pocket at the back of the head so the lower border of the pocket keeps pushing her helmet forward. This may be because she is still quite small (10kg) so sitting lower. Not sure. For this reason only, I would maybe consider a trailer that tilts back.

AEK: I have two boys ages 4 and 7. I am triathlon training and have had to come up with some creative ways to get my training in. When I realized I wanted a trailer for my bike, I marveled at the low-price ($100-200 range) options but ultimately went with the Honey Bee. I liked the stroller-conversion, the higher weight limit than competitors' models, and the Burley emphasis on safety.
ASSEMBLY. I didn't have the awesome experience others did, mostly because so much of the trailer was already assembled (the instructions were written as if I'd have to do about 50% more than I actually had to do --- that was confusing, especially for someone who's never even been close to a bike trailer in real life). Burley, y'all should fix this (there were also some references to throwing away bolts/nuts that actually had to be reused...that was confusing, too). The pictures could be better, too. But the trailer is clearly very well designed and sturdy. Very impressive. It was easy to assemble once I figured out Burley had done most of the work already.
SIZE/COMFORT. My boys are a combined 80 lbs, so the 100 lb weight limit was attractive. They were reasonably comfortable (it's good...
