Carson Cardoza: The media could not be loaded. Definitely worth every penny! Got 25 guppy fry in this breeding box and it’s just really easy to manage them. Feeding them is especially easy since they’re all right there. Also having them separated from the adult fish, this is a easy must have!

Amazon Customer: Recently hatched a clutch of mystery snails, and it works great. The grates/holes on the side aren’t too large for the snails to fit through. Also allows me to keep an eye on them while they grow

M. Johnson: The water tends to stagnate even with the slats in the side. I ran a bubbler under it to force clean water into it.

Seahorse: Bought to house baby guppies. It was supposed to come with suction cups, it didn't but so far it will float if partially resting on an artificial plant. The plastic grid that divides the top and bottom halves is not removable so there is no way to clean out food, etc. that drops through it to the bottom. The removable lid is difficult to grasp when wet but it has to come off to get the tiny bits of food in to them. Since mom is not in the breeder tank there is no need for the divider but I can't remove it. So far no babies have escaped and they are very tiny. It has kept the babies safe from being eaten but that's about the only positive to it.
Updating, after pulling it out of the tank and fiddling with it a little more I found the dividers could be removed making it one large protected box for the fry. Perfect since mom is not in it with them. Would buy again and recommend to a friend. If instructions had been included, this would not have been necessary.

Sam Hargis: It does work. It hangs well without falling off of the wall. It's a little bit too close to the tank in my opinion, and small fish like to try to get stuck, and I can't seem to keep air from getting under the handles and creating pockets when in the water.
The plastic is thin, and easy to accidentally snap, and it does NOT work for cherry shrimp (which was why I bought it). However, if being used as a temporary box for mollies/guppies/platies, or as an isolation box, it would probably work a lot better.
