MT: I have a Duo-Therm Brisk Air model 57915.622 that was purchased in 1999. My original cover had an open back. This one is a perfect fit. Kudos to Duo-Therm for maintaining consistency over the years!
Pros:
- Fits as expected.
- Closed back to help keep from bending the cooling fins on accident.
Cons:
- You have to rivet on the gray band.
- You have to drill one hole in the front to attach the gray band.
Tips:
- Per the instruction sheet my unit would need to cut the flanges on the side close-off plates at an angle to install the unit. This is not needed. The instructions state to install the cover from the front and tilt it down over the back. I installed it from the back down over the front and it worked just fine.
- My old screws were slight larger in diameter than the new screws. I re-used the old ones.
- If you have bent cooling fins, get one of these tools to straighten them. The handle is useless, just use the fin...

Ron M: This fit the A/C unit on my 1997 Triple E Topaz perfectly. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the holes on the end of the gray band were not big enough for the spacer bolts. Enlarging the holes didn't take much but it meant I had to get off the roof to get a drill, extra trip up and down the ladder.

DunerJim: The shroud itself is high quality. All of the holes lined up perfectly with the existing holes. However, the instructions that come with it are very confusing. The shroud fits a number of different models of air conditioners and the first thing the directions say is to install the shroud extension for units with a low profile base pan. But they do not give any way to identify your existing pan as high or low profile. I tried searching the internet and couldn’t find how to determine whether mine was high or low profile. I ended up on taking the new shroud up on the roof and discovered that mine was a high profile pan based on the fact that the shroud fit without adding the extension. I really shouldn’t have had to do that. The directions refer to close-off plates. My unit didn’t have anything I could identify as a close-off plate. The next step was to attach self adhesive foam to the close-off plates. I chose to attach the foam to the coil end plates. The directions say to install two “supplied #10-16 x 1.41 truss head shoulder screws” through holes in the shroud into the condenser brackets. There was no provision on my unit for installation of these screws, and no such...

Ron P: We replaced the a/c shroud on our 2010 trailer due to some hail damage. The online measurements were not accurate but we went with the ones from another review, which were accurate and were similar to our rough measurements. It turned out to be a perfect fit and we did not require the lower part that you have to pop rivit on. It was a very simple job as all of the screw holes lined up with no problems. It has only been on for a week or so and I can not comment on how it will stand up but it seems to be about the same thickness as the one that we took off.

Lonnie WhittenLonnie Whitten: Arrived in a timely manner. The packaging was horrible though. They just found a box that it would fit in and shoved it in, there was NO packing materials inside the box to keep it from sliding around, there were rub marks and scratches on it, not a big deal as it won’t be seen.
Installation absolutely SUCKED. The direction we’re as generic as could be and all but useless.
TIP: Rivet the shroud to the attachment piece on the ground before you take it up top. Purchase you own rivets that are longer than the ones that came in the package so that you can put washers on both sides. Quite a few of the OEM rivets just broke through the shroud, and I had to drill them out and get longer ones and add washers. Once I figured that part out, it went pretty smooth. All but two of the OEM attachment holes lined up. That was an easy fix, drilled the holes and attached with sheet metal screws.
Overall I am pleased that I no longer have a broken shored, as the old one was the original from 1999, I’m hoping that I will upgrade Camper’s and won’t have to replace another shroud.
