RK: Showed up early and in perfect condition. My kids love this series. Easy reads and provides an informative and positive history of the title character. Highly recommend you get one based on your favourite historical figure and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

LauraLee: The content of the book is excellent. The illustrations however aren’t the best. Several pictures of Dolly do not look like her at all. Some make her look like an elderly woman when the picture is supposed to be Dolly in her twenties. The picture of her statue is horrible, her neck is huge and the face doesn’t come close to her likeness. I am not sure how this illustrator’s pictures were thought acceptable for this book. They do nothing to enhance the beauty and the joy that is Dolly. I hate for children to not have an accurate likeness of her. Very disappointing. The book has four stars for content but it’s a zero for the illustrations.
