:0): I really like this material. My dog is a larger and golden doodle. She is currently 60 pounds. I got the large and it fits relatively snug. I wish I would’ve gotten her an extra large that she had a little bit more space and it wasn’t up her nose.

Pkpurple: My lab gets to wander around the field, with other dogs and cows. Leave it to her to find any cow manure, or other kind of poop and eat it. Therefore, I had to stop letting her wander around and had to keep her with me in the yard. Which was no fun for me or her. This muzzle lets her breathe easily, bark and talk, but she cannot pick up poop with her mouth. Problem solved!

debdix: Great training tool for our English Cocker, five years old who has never worn a muzzle. Quick association made with treats deposited inside muzzle and slowly progressed to wearing it for some sensitive hind end treatments. Took a day’s training , gradually getting her to see it as a good thing! Comfortable, breathable and works well. Very pleased and have ordered a spare!

RebeccaRebecca: Works great! Size was accurate based on measurements taken (using their guide). Sturdy yet comfortable. We are using it to prevent licking of surgical site. She is much happier in this than in a cone. Doesn’t inhibit panting and “talking”.
The strap/buckle feels a little flimsy in comparison to the muzzle itself. It may not last as long as we’d like but for the price, definitely worth it!

ashley: I tested this product out past my return date unfortunately as I should have returned it. I used the size chart correctly and purchased 2 for both my girls to wear on walks as they randomly became leash reactive to dogs & people and although they are not a Vite risk, they appear friendly so the muzzle was a good deterrent for people to not get too close ( I found out it was the second fear stage causing this sudden change). My girls have managed to get them off by them selves and also take them off each other. The basket isn’t very big, therefore panting space was limited and we were using this in the summer.. If you need this because your dog bites/is a bite risk please invest in a better quality basket muzzle as this would not stand up to the task. If you need this because your dog eats things they should on walks then with close monitoring so he/she doesn’t take it off on their own then you might want to consider since it is cheap but try a larger muzzle size so they can pant. If you rely on treats to get your dog to focus on you or in general for training out in public, this muzzle is very difficult to be able to reward that good behaviour with a treat for both space...

Lauren R.: I love these basket muzzles. I find them difficult to find at times online, so I try to stock up on them since my dog training clients can never find them in the stores locally when they're dog needs them.

Basket muzzles are the only type of muzzle I prefer because it teaches your dog to control his own mouth. The cloth kind keeps their mouth shut so they are never learning their own bite inhibition. Basket muzzles also allow a dog to bark, pant (vitally important for extended wear), drink, & eat (though this takes practice with a large bowl of kibble). Basket muzzles are also superior to cloth because they cover the tip of the dog's muzzle, so the dog can't even nip anyone. This also makes them ideal for helping with other issues like coprophagia.

The drawback to this muzzle in addition to its scarcity, is the lack of strap from the top of the nose to the back head strap. To buy one with this strap already on the muzzle the cost becomes exorbitant.
