1 light was enough for my 24x24x12 but I did 4. And yes they’re bright. I almost went barrinas like the people on obsessed garage rant and rave over.
These are adjustable. So you can really aim each panel to get full coverage. Directly below the light is covered so each panel can be aimed to cover every inch of space

Perry Platypus: So you know those out of the way places in the house that need light, but only have a single fixture installed? The walk in attic, the basement water treatment room, the boiler room, the wine cellar...those places. A single bulb in a single fixture only does so much. One of them had an ancient 300W incandescent bulb. Well, I replaced them all with these LED bulbs. A direct screw in replacement for the incandescent, CFL and LED mix that was there previously. These sure make a lot of light - and the 4 side panels can be directed to provide a little more light where you want it. Love these bulbs and look forward to them "lighting the way" for years to come - you light up my life!

MW: I use my garage a lot. I actually have 2 cars in there as well as a work bench, shelves full of automotive supplies, tools, bicycles, sports equipment, kayaks and stuff. I have a lift in my garage and do routine maintenance on my cars. Lighting has always been an issue. I had installed 2 sets of fluorescents about 15 years ago and they were better but not great. I still had dark spots in areas and it was hard to see well while working on my cars so I still needed a drop light. I decided to finally do something about the lighting. I bought these, but initially I was going to replace my garage door opener bulbs with these. But, since they are so easy to use, I decided to install them in place of the 2 overhead bulbs that came with the house just to see what they could do. I was amazed at the light these things put out. And you can adjust each of the 4 wings to put the lights more or less where you want. I left them where they were and ordered 2 more to replace the bulbs in my garage door openers.
