Renee DemoneRenee Demone: This is a used cookbook!! The pages are dirty, there is tape on the back, and bent pages. The nerve to sell this book to someone at $27 with a $6.99 Value Village sticker on the back. That is disgusting. Buyer beware.

DebbieW: I first took the book out at my local library to check out the recipes. After looking through the book, I immediately order it from Amazon. There are so many recipes I’d like to try that it’s going to take some time to work through them all. For the ones I’ve made, they’ve all tasted great. Ingredients are easy to fine and preparation isn’t too complicated. There’s also a good variety in the recipes with varied ingredients so you wouldn’t get bored with the meals. The recipes do require prep time, but you’d expect that when working with fresh ingredients.

It’s so nice to enjoy great tasting food, all while being healthy. It you’re looking for a good Mediterranean diet cooking, you can’t go wrong with this one. My book arrived in perfect condition from Amazon.

john georgopoulos: I have many cookbooks and this so far is my favorite one. I have made at least 10 recipes so far. The only negative is I would enjoy more pictures of the finished recipes. For instance I would have never made the avocado parfaits if not for the picture. Do not miss out on that recipe I have made it 4 times already.

A. Bowman: When I wanted to eat more of a Mediterranean diet, my family wasn't a fan. This was one of three Mediterranean cookbooks I purchased (or received as a gift), and this is by far the best.

1. It's well-organized. You would think that all cookbooks would be organized in an easy-to-read way, but that would be wrong. Other Mediterranean cookbooks I have are hard to read because they aren't really organized in any way.

2. There are pictures! You eat with your eyes first, and this is no exception. The number of photos in this cookbook made it easier for my family to pick out recipes to try.

3. The meals are truly family-friendly. My daughter hates fish (we're working on that). The Pistachio-Crusted Cod is an absolute favorite of hers now! We've tried about 1/3 of the recipes, and we keep going back for more. We rate each meal for future reference, and all but one are between 7/10 and 9/10!

4. The meals fit into an every day schedule. I hate recipes that take hours of cooking because that's just not realistic for my schedule. My husband and I work full time and hustle kids to and from activities (less so during COVID). So far, all of these meals take less than...

jess: Such a delightful cookbook!! I myself do NOT classify myself as a “good” cook- I’m the one assigned to bring chips to the party!! Ha!!
This cookbook makes it simple for me to try new, healthy and FUN recipes for my family of 5 (with three littles under 8) that have everyone asking for more. I especially appreciate because of my many foods sensitivities- SO many delicious options for me! Thank you ladies what a blessing!

Boston UserBoston User: I really did not need another cookbook on my shelf but I've made recipes from Deanna and Serena at Teaspoon of Spice before so I knew that the book would offer creative and easy-to-make dishes that I would like. Was I ever right! So far, I've made the Pistachio-Parmesan Crusted Cod and it was a huge hit - crunchy and delicious! I have many pages with Post-it notes for recipes to make soon -Crispy Ravioli with Tomato Dipping Sauce, Rosemary Shrimp with Sweet Potato Polenta, Artichoke Cheese Strata, Foolproof Pumpkin Gnocchi, and Garlicky White Bean Tapas for starters. The photography is stunning and I'm looking forward to working my way through this amazing cookbook!
