Brittany:
I date a very complicated man, but his tastes are simple. LPOTL and The Doors. I tend to rotate between the two for every event that warrants a gift. He’s never been disappointed.
It’s also cheaper on Amazon than in Barnes & Noble. So… buy it here… order it for the LPOTL fan in your life, especially if that fan is you.

Robin Mayhall:
This book took me by surprise, even though I was already a huge fan of the podcast (“The Last Podcast on the Left”). The podcast is definitely aimed at fans of true crime stories, and the book focuses on what the authors (the podcast hosts) would call “heavy hitters.” In these pages are the stories of Ted Bundy, Richard “The Night Stalker” Ramirez, And Jeffrey Dahmer, among others.
The book’s format follows that of the podcast. The main researcher and scriptwriter, Marcus Parks, writes the majority of the text, just as he voices a great deal of the content in the podcast. And in the podcast, his two co-hosts, Ben Kissel and Henry Zebrowski, frequently jump in with commentary that ranges from thoughtful to hilarious to downright obscene. This podcast is not for kids, and it’s not for sensitive adults!
In the book, they try to reproduce this format by inserting short sidebars with comments by Ben and Henry. But these printed sidebars can’t capture the rhythm of the podcast, the way the three hosts interact, the off-script discussions and mentions of their personal experiences, etc., etc. I tried the audiobook in the hope it would...

KEWKEW: I am a huge fan of Last Podcast on the Left, and this book reads as if you were listening to a collection of their greatest episodes. Filled with the kind of well researched information and dark humor we've come to expect from the boys over at LPOTL, plus a series of excellent illustrations to help bring the whole package together. It is a wonderful source of EDU-TAINMENT! So enjoy and Megustalations!

Ms. Sl Hole:
Quick word on Amazon - great delivery service.
The brilliant Parks, the endearing Kissel, and the infuriatingly funny Zebrowski manage to transfer their superb podcast conversations to the printed press. Never exploitative or dismissive, this is a superb dismantling of the pedestals these pathetic and brutal murderers built for themselves. Fantastic artwork and a refreshing tone that is both informative and at times uncomfortably truthful.
It’s a testament to everyone involved with TLPotL that this is such a funny and sincerely grave discussion of some of the most damaged minds in living history.
I’m very aware that this reads like a paid-for review, and if anyone at TLPotL wants to offer me hard cash please DM me.
