Amazon Customer: I was very happy to finally receive my cookie decorating book. It did take a bit to get, unfortunately. The book is in really nice condition, and I am happy with it. Thank you!

Janet L.G.: Arrived in just a few days, way before I had expected, so that was a nice surprise. Seller described it as being "used but in acceptable condition". Don't sell yourself short; this book was more like "almost new" condition. Great pics and everything seems to be broken down into very easy step-by-step instructions. I've dabbled in cookie decorating over the last few years, and even taken a few classes, but I think this book could easily be my go-to for ideas, inspuration, and most importantly, proper technique.

Kbomb: Hands down, this is the only cookie book you will ever need. There are detailed instructions with pictures, and so many different types of icing and cookies.

Sylvie C.: If you're buying only one book on cookie decorating, this one is highly recommended for people of all skill levels.
I can't think of anything on the topic that isn't comprehensively covered within its 192 pages. The 550 large, full color instructional photographs are great. This book will give you hours of very enjoyable reading. My only complaint is that it isn't a hardcover.
The author comes from generations of fine bakers and sugarcrafters. She's also the co-owner of fabulous Country Kitchen SweetArt. If their huge online catalog doesn't have it, it probably doesn't exist.
This timeless book is infinitely better than The Cookie Companion by Georgeanne Bell. Dated, very basic and uninspiring, that one's only selling point are the AmeriColor mixing charts which are available separately and inexpensively. However, if you do want the Bell book, Amazon sells the 2019 paperback reprint of the expensive 2015 hardcover for around $12.70 or so.
It pays to shop around for Autumn Carpenter's excellent book. I recently bought a brand-new copy online for only $2.92, plus standard USPS shipping.

Ray: The book is very informative as it covers all aspects. If you are determined to know more about cookie decorating and can easily grasp the information through pictures, this book is very resourceful. As for me, being a book lover and a home baker, I wanted this book in my collection but I would stick to online free tutorials and social groups dedicated to the art of cookie decorating.

Amanda DAloia: Absolutely love this book. Bought the cake decorating one first and was so impressed I bought the cookie one as well.
The pictures are big and descriptive and well thought out for the stages they show.
The instructions are easy to follow.
The designs are perfect and relevant.
I can not fault this book at all and would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to decorate cookies and wants a bit more indepth than some cake decorating books give (and isnt pretentious).
