William C. Long: For years I have used the standard brass attachment (plus an analog tire gauge) that came with my small Craftsman air compressor to air up our tires. The thing was very hard to use, and on some tires you could not even get it to seal well enough to get sufficient pressure in the tire, especially with the "doughnut" spare tires in our cars. This inflator gauge works perfectly, is easy to attach, reads the same as my old gauge, and it works on all the tires I have tried it on, even on the "doughnut" spare which requires 60 psi!

Van Life GeekVan Life Geek: This is so easy to use and the gauge seems to be accurate. The gauge reading is only 2psi off from my semi-trusted gauge. I like the way the hose clamps to the tire air nozzle, which is quick and secure. I also like how easy it is to release air from the tire if I go over a bit. The gauges digital readout is very easy to read, as well.

MonroeMonroe: Everything about my item, but the locking chuck met expectations. Triggers worked great. Easy to read display, and it goes down to 0.1 instead of 0.5. However when the chuck was on the tire it either let the air out or read 0.0 because it wasn't fully engaging. Afterwards I noticed the clamp sites offset and probably caused the bad connection. The display also blurs when buttons are pressed (though it doesn't affect usage it just shows lack of quality).

All in all 4 stars for 90% of the product and an easy refund. I might have just received a defective unit, but i am going with a different unit and different chuck right now.

Dave L.: Have only had it for a week, but tested it out on several tires/valves and it locks on very easily and have 0 trouble getting a leak-free seal without even trying. Hardly any air escapes when attaching or detaching, which is more than I can say for the standard type chucks. The gauge responds very quickly and not having to hold the chuck in place on the stem is so much easier. Trigger and release valves both work smoothly and let you control the amount of flow easily. Overall very sturdy feeling. The weak point on any of these is where the rubber hose crimps to the metal fittings, we'll see how that holds up over time (probably best to not leave it connected and under pressure all the time, but that applies to any air hose). The rubber itself will eventually crack if you leave it out in the cold or direct sun, but probably not for many years. Actually they should sell a replacement hose/chuck assembly, I would have bought an extra just to have it. My old Husky one from Home Depot has had cracking rubber for years, the inside has a reinforced woven section and it does not leak, so that has been cosmetic only, I'm assuming this one (like any rubber air hose) is probably of similar...
