CST: I bought this thermometer after reading reviews that complained the battery was “Lo” right away. But the instructions say that the word “Lo” (or Low) means the thermometer has a low enough reading that it is ready to use. I’m sure the battery will eventually run out of juice, but they aren’t selling the thermometer with bad batteries. Always read and understand the instructions, please.

Joseph J.
