The Thsinde AC-DC Current Digital Clamp-Meter is the best voltage tester based on design, ease of use, size, and accuracy. This multimeter tester features a 100A current, 6000-counts low impedance voltage, 1 mA reading, auto range, and temperature and true RMS readings. This red clamp-meter is perfect for any job and is sure to provide accurate readings. Bill or sparkey: 1st one was return. 2nd one is from another vendor. The alligator clips are not screw on as most are.
The ends are simply crimp down where the test lead probe is slide onto it. Gets sloppy after a few
insertions. The test leads to the meter only have about a 1/8 inch of actual connection between the
male female connector ends. The 1st one gave me intermittent readings of zero - not good. The Clamp
for DC Amps seem to be fairly accurate. It's the main purpose I bought this meter for automotive work.
I purchase another DC Clamp Meter that is far more superior for the same price from Amazon. It even
measures smaller amounts of amperage. However, it does not measure temperature as this one does.
One neat feature, it displays both Fahrenheit and Celsius at the same time - don't need to convert #'s.

W. Rostron: This is an excellent troubleshooting meter for the shop. It isn't good enough for industrial calibration. I bought this for the clamp-on DC current feature which reads to 1mA resolution. I have plenty of other meters, but I wanted a clamp-on DC current meter that I could use for small circuit troubleshooting. I find the 'zero' function only nulls the reading to a little less than 10 counts, but this is OK; it just indicates the good sensitivity of the hall effect sensor.

Warran tee: I'm familiar with this type of product so there really isn't much to say. It works as described with a couple of minor complaints. The lead set coming out the bottom of the meter is sometimes an issue for me. Might not be for other people so it’s not a deal-breaker. Sometimes it’s hard to read but if you position it in other ways, it works fine. Again, not a deal-breaker. The good is the meter works great on AC and DC. It is hard to find a meter that will read DC amps under $100, but this does and does it well.

Idar Lem: Despite some negative reviews, decided to buy it. I liked it. Has all measurement for HVAC. Very tiny and convenient for my small tool bag, . Didnt check accuracies yet.

turtle: This matches readings of several other known meters. It is nice and small and maneuverable but that size turns the display sideways in a lot of cases. I like the feature where the probe clips onto the unit for reading the result where you are looking to position the probe a lot! Soft Leads and probes are a little better than many very cheep meters. And yes you can pull a portion of the probe tip off to get a longer contact area and replace it back on to pinpoint as needed, I have seen reviews where they tried to unscrew them unsucessfully ....just pull!

JMReviewerJMReviewer: I have two of these style units, in the same price class. I use them for the ammeter function. I’ve not checked the voltmeter yet - I have a good Fluke for that.
But of the two units I have, I like this one better. Why?
- It’s auto-ranging. Other units have to select the range manually. Perhaps manual selection is more accurate or better somehow, I don’t know. But auto selection is more convenient.
- It remembers your setting. Other types automatically turn on to the AC setting, so if you’re using it, you need to hit another button to swap to dc setting.
- It tells you that you’ve zeroed it. The zeroing function requires a long hold and it puts a Z mark on the screen.
- The kit is nice. It even comes with a screwdriver to open the battery area.
Now, I have only three stars for accuracy because this one and the other I had were not close in measurement. Which was closer to truth? I can’t say. But frankly, when dc clamp meters from reputable companies cost a lot more money, and this one doesn’t, accuracy is suspect until proven otherwise. When I get a chance to verify it I’ll raise the stars up or down.

G. Hale: I have purchase a few of these units, for myself and as gifts. They are easy it use, and can detect very low milliamps of current. Inductive ammeter clamp, so no need to break into the circuitry to measure ampers of flowers, circuitry.. Recommended
