JP Miller: The larger size allows me to adjust my balance on the scale by shifting my feet. On smaller scales I might have to put my foot an an edge to balance, both painful and dangerous.
The scale seems to resolve in about 3 passes about 1/2 second apart. Perhaps within 10 lbs in the first pass, within about 1 lb in the next pass and finally the 1/10 lb is displayed in the third pass.
Every time I got on the scale it repeated the previous measurement within 1/10 lb. contrary to other reviews. I have seen no sign of inaccuracy or non repeatable measurement in several months of daily use.
Previous scales have broken after a few years use. Not the weighing or displaying function but literally the plastic platform. I hope this one is better.

Kindle Customer: This scale is perfect and exactly what I wanted.
I didn’t want a glass top scale which seem to be the most popular now. I’m a bit of a klutz and I like the “old school” items that are just easy to use and serve their purpose in every way. This scale does that by simply stepping on and waiting for your weight to come up.
It goes back to zero and it keeps my weight to the ounces I’ve lost. And it also has a no-slip surface which is also what I was looking for. I got the right one and I’d recommend this to someone looking for all the things I mentioned.

T. Stephenson: Do not purchase. What the manufacturer claims is not correct.
Weight accuracy is different every time you step on it - and that can be checking weight every three minutes. Worst purchase of the year. I'm going to go back and buy the Weight Watcher's scale. Now that stays accurate every single time!
