Eman LlufEman Lluf: This wrench arrived in what looked like factory sealed packaging and a calibration sticker. The actual 3/8 driver head was snapped off and had a clear impurity in the metal that likely caused it to fail when tested/calibrated. Unfortunately Dewalt's manufacturer still shipped it. Amazon returns are great but still a waste of time having a defect shipped and needing to be returned.
Luckily it wasn't only half as bad and failed after some time and the warranty.

Often Disappointed!: I saw this torque wrench reviewed on some web sights and you tube videos and it seem to be considered a good value and accurate for the price. Grandpa here and not as strong as I used to be so the extra length gives the the leverage needed to make easy work of high torque bolts.
This one works SO well that my old one... the one that I lost and bought this one to replace.... found its way back home! I much prefer this one so it's a keeper.

Arf: Very durable tool. It has decent weight to it so you know it's not cheaply made and comes in a very nice case to keep it safe from damage in the garage

Tayson: Just like my ex wife, it's big, it's heavy, and man does it look good in yellow! The case is well built and sturdy. I might just buy another to hang it on the wall above my fireplace it looks so pretty. Ever since she left me, all I've had is my truck and my tools. Definitely would recommend to any fellow unemployed fathers who spend there weekends using their children as unpayed laborers. This is a great addition to the toolbox.

Jeofrey: There is many torque wrench for the money but as for dewalt, they build a good case and i like that it reminds you to put the torque settings to low otherwise it won't fit in the case. One thing that is a con for this torque wrench is the number painted on the collar i just wish it was metal that the numbers were etch but other wise so far so good.

John G. Hunter: Torqued the bolt holding the blade on the lawnmower. Everything seems to be ok so far so the wrench worked fine. I could have paid a lot more for a torque wrench or a lot less. I chose this one because I have other Dewalt tools and they all seem to be of good quality. Only time will tell but all the other tools are still working well.

Proud Single Dad: Overview
I was using it without the locking ring in the proper position. This disabled the click...and I was over torquing the fasteners. I will re-read the instructions to see if I overlooked something. Watch for that...
I have a smaller 3/8 torque wrench for smaller jobs...but this one is a must for changing your tires. The 30 inch handle makes it effortless to reach the higher level torque settings
Pros
-typical Dewalt high quality build
-good leverage for high torque settings
Cons
- expensive, but still good value
-I would have preferred the adjustment rig be made of metal.
Recommendation – Would buy it again and would recommend.

James S.: This wrench is long enough to be easier to use than a shorter wrench, especially in the ranges that this wrench can handle. The rubber handle is very comfortable and the rubber head cover is a nice touch. It does come off if need be.
Very positive click and give when it reaches the torque setting. You can't miss it.
Seems to be a fairly fine ratchet gear tooth amount which is nice for keeping small movements in tight areas.
The adjustment locking ring is different, takes a little getting used to compared to other wrenches. I find that holding the locking ring back and turning the wrench until I get close works fine.
If I were to have any complaints it would be about the plastic case it comes in. It does not seem to be as strong as a molded case that torque wrenches normally come in. Sure the inside is great and holds the wrench very securely and cushions it from any shocks, but the plastic case may not handle something hitting it in a tool box or if you were to accidently drop it. Time will tell. I normally take good care of my tools and especially precision tools so I doubt I'll ever have a problem. I think the main selling point on this wrench would be the length....

Dave: Ever since using my buddy's very expensive Snap-On digital torque wrench a while back I knew I had to have a digital wrench. I didn't plan on purchasing this DeWalt at the time I saw it but the price during Prime Big Deal Days was too good to pass up. It does everything the Snap-On does for 1/6th the price, and was only a trivial amount more (on sale) than Harbor Freight's offering. The Angle Mode is a very welcome feature as many of my car's fasteners are torque-to-yield thus require xx ft-lbs plus xx degrees turned. I also like that it gives both warning beeps when you're close to your torque setting, something the Snap-On didn't, and a solid one once you reach it (like parking sensors in a car). According to the calibration readout that came with it, the least accurate torque spec tested was only -0.27% off, well within the 3% +/- rating. Lastly, the case is fantastic. It has a foam cutout for the wrench and even spots for extra batteries and the instructions. FYI, batteries are included.
