Tallie365: I wish this file cabinet had a break on the wheels. I'm going to need to put it on something to keep it from rolling around when opening a drawer and that's why I'm deducting one star. Otherwise, it's sturdy and has a little wheel at the front of the bottom drawer to keep it from tipping. The color is a nice flat black. It's wide enough to just-fit a brown accordion file and definitely fits a hanging file. Note: The delivery came damaged with a small hole in the box. I wouldn't have thought the product would be damaged based on that but the big drawer has a dent in front. Amazon offered to return or exchange. After calling and speaking with customer service, Amazon gave me a small discount instead. I decided to keep it because it's a bulky piece and I already had it up in my apartment and unboxed when discovered. Overall, I'm satisfied and will make it work for me.

Baby Ruth: Gave this to my grandchildren for Christmas last year. They have their own apartment or home now and this has made organizing their paper files so easy. The top drawers are excellent for storage too. I own this product in white and it fits under our table that we use to do jigsaw puzzles. Makes a great side table if you want to use it that way..

Amazon Customer: I was impressed with this cabinet from the minute I opened it.
- It comes encased in thick foam and cardboard and plastic protectors for the edges so you know it's not going to come dented or scratched from delivery.
- The setup took no time at all. You just have to attach the wheels to the bottom. It's a little heavy but ok for a single person to turn upside down.
- The wheels are very high quality like nothing I have seen before. The cabinet coasts soooo smoothly. I love the addition of the little wheel on the bottom drawer to give it more stability. The other file cabinet I have does not have this and it tips a little when it gets front-heavy.
- The steel is not the thing wobbly type. It's very sturdy and heavy. This is a solid unit.
- The drawers have a little edge that makes it very easy to open and close. They also have a little bit of resistance when you close it right at the end. It seems to lock the drawers in and keeps them from sliding out when you move the cabinet. I also love this detail because that is exactly the opposite of my other cabinet which has drawers that fly open when I move it.
I'm impressed and I'm going to buy another one to...

I chose a metal cabinet for not much more money than several wood composites that were listed. Many of the composite's reviews were good but many also had complaints about screw holes missing or misaligned (they all had to be assembled) and I just didn't feel like dealing with that. Also, the drawer bottoms on the composites had comments about their not being too sturdy. So, I chose metal, pre-assembled. I'm glad I did.
