MC Ronson: Old school functionality. You can expect any whisk broom to shed some fibers during use. This is unavoidable since any 'natural' source material fibers are going to break. These are 'whisk' brooms, meant for light, controlled use.
It's almost more of a brush than a broom, like clearing out pebbles and dirt from corners or cab floors in a car between vacuuming. It's all in the wrist. If you use this more aggressively than it's designed for, it will wear out that much faster.
If your Whisk is truly shedding excessively, remember that even the best manufacturer puts out an occasional dud. It doesn't mean they make crappy products.
If there is a quality issue, contact the seller and tell us what they did to make things right before slamming them with negative reviews. Everyone deserve a chance to make things right. If they don't stand behind their product, or made things right, that is what's truly worth noting in any review.

Marjie, Mother of 9: I keep my trunk stocked with essential; a road atlas, tire inflator, flashlight, wrenches, snow brush, blanket, and now, a whisk broom. We have always had the, in our cars, it when we bought our new car this summer, our whisk broom disappeared. My adult kid laugh at me for keeping a whisk broom, but it really does clean out the carpet in the car very well when you can’t get to a vacuum cleaner, and after more than 20years of riding around in cars that my kids slobbed up, I am happy to keep my car presentable.
