J K: My dog has a medium-length wire-haired coat that she seems to replace daily based on the volume of dog hair I find on my floors. She was skeptical of this brush at first, but once I got one or two solid strokes down her back, she accepted the brush. Each time I brush her, I completely fill the bristles with fur, but with a press of the button, the back lifts and the caught fur pops right off (basically, a gerbil’s-worth of fur…it’s a lot). Bristle tips are covered, too, so I won’t scratch my dog’s skin. With regular use, I can finally have a home without dog-hair-tumbleweed!

deValcourt: I’ve read enough reviews about cat grooming products that anytime someone said, “my cat loves it and comes running up to be brushed” I assume they are slightly balmy. Despite my personal protestations and prejudices, my cat does come rushing for me as soon as I pick this brush up. The most important aspect for me is how easily the hair can be removed from the brush. I’m not so high and mighty that I can’t admit I was wrong about my assumptions. I was wrong.

Nonetheless, it is made from plastic so I expect the brush to break over time. But until then, I’ll keep using it for as long as she continues to like it.

Jessie B: Idk what just happened. I brushed all three cats and they were all still in the living room when done. They all sat still and seemed to enjoy being brushed… normally its a fight and struggle, maybe get 4 brushes in before they run and hide. One of them hates it so much we have to hold her down to de-shed haha we avoid it. She sat there and purred 🤯 idk what this magical wand is, but its the 5th brush we have in the house. Ohhhhh!! And the push the hair off, best Ive ever used!! Actually works. So fast. So nice.

Jane: This is great. I wouldn’t say that I expect it to last for years, but it is priced very well for what you get. We have a shepherd/lab mix and she sheds A LOT. She also has super dry skin, so while this brush doesn’t soothe or calm her like some others, it does seem to penetrate deep enough to reach itchy spots on her skin. It’s so simple just pressing a button and the hair falling off. Can’t believe this isn’t the standard design for dog brushes. Only downside is the plastic is pretty cheap (so definitely keep away from your dog) and I don’t think it would be comfortable for cats or dogs with longer or potentially matted hair. Doesn’t seem tangle-friendly, but is definitely shed-friendly.

TJTJ: My 3 cats started hating being brushed no matter what brush I used (even the glove). They shed so much that it looks like a snowstorm when you pet them! My eldest female started getting bad dander and started to get mats. After reading reviews, I decided to get this brush to see if it would help her. This brush gently took her mats out and she actually enjoyed being brushed again! She now is shedding minimally with a daily brushing (although she now asks to be brushed multiple times a day)
I decided to use it on my 2 boys and they love it too! My bi-polar white kitty gets so excited and purrs so loudly as I brush him.

I push the button a couple of times and the collected fur comes off in an oval pat for easy disposal. The slightly bent metal prongs have rubber tips over them for comfort. The handle is covered in a non slip rubbery material and is comfortable to use.
