We both have silk hair so I thought WHY NOT?
The Ergo design provides a springy functions. If you need to apply more pressure to pull hair out, then you can push your finger down to position a narrower upper section to assist with hair removal.
My dog is very sensitive, and she prefers I groom her coat when she is under the shower water.
I consider this brush to function more like a finishing brush, not a deeper grooming comb or tool
I WOULD buy one though, I have seen nothing at all like it.
Mine works on my hair as well, in fact, one neighbor of mine wants me to order one for her hair. lol
I hope they make a smaller size for my kitty. She would hate then, of course, love it lol

Alana: I bought this brush after someone had recommended it. My niece hated brushing her hair but this brush has made her love brushing her hair. We have tried so many brushes in the past and nothing works as good as this one.

Customer: She's a small, short-coated dog and most brushes go right thru her fur and scratch her skin. This brush is much gentler and manages to pull out that loose, short fur when she's shedding, saving a lot of vacuuming. She still hates being brushed (she also hates baths and nail clips, something from her previous owner I think) but at least she tolerates this better than anything else I tried, and long enough to get brushed.

W. Drake Dorosh: "Biosilk" as a name doesn't convey the remarkable properties of this brush. The design gimmick is that the whole brush is a spiraled up single line of bristles. My tangled hairy mutt is usually quick to temper when his tangles are messed with but like the other dog owners I'm pretty sure this brush is different.
I guess it is the springiness of the spiral that has flex and won't yank too hard. I like to push it in deep and pull it almost straight out to make a pocket that I can widen into longer strokes. My Shaggy dog stays patiently for as long as I can bend to brush him.
This brush is very different. The spiral must have been a gimmick but it really works. My design suggestion is to put this brush on a pole so I don't have to bend over and can use two hands. I'm going to buy another one.
