Kelly Albrecht: Former builder here, and we always recommended Delta for quality reasons. Fast forward to today, the condo we bought had all M o e n faucets, 2 of which either leak or are broken. Got The Kate, it's lovely. The instructions are sort of hilarious because they reference multiple faucets, so they refer to parts you do not have. No parts list for what you should have, either. Fortunately I was able to figure it out. Tip: you tilt the handle straight UP 1st, then tilt left or right to mix temperature. Go back to center then down to turn off. Works great!

DMGMD: Beautiful faucet. Works great and looks and feels like a high end faucet.

This replaced a 15 year old Delta faucet that eventually wasn't worth repairing.

Installing this is NOT hard if you are reasonably handy. You need no special tools. A screwdriver, a hex wrench and a weird little wrench for one nut, which is included.

The instructions are a case study in how to convey information with as few words and images as possible. However, they are entirely complete with no more or less than is needed. The images are very small. I suggest that you download the instructions as a PDF, and look at them on a full size monitor. If you "get it", proceed, if you don't, call a plumber.

Also, be sure that you can physically reach the area under the sink AND you can remove the old faucet! BEWARE that older faucets sometimes require special tools to turn the mounting nuts and they might be rusted in place.

Pro tip: turn off the hot and cold shut off valves before removing the old faucet and make sure they completely shut off the water by watching if your old faucet drips with the valves closed. Old valves sometimes won't close completely. You must know this...

Maresian: This faucet has made me enjoy using my sink again! I went from an old standard solid angle neck kitchen faucet to this, and it has made a world of difference. The removable head is easy to remove and easy to snap back in place, with plenty of hose to get water where you need it. The faucet handle feels very nice, and I have not seen any signs of wear on it yet, though I haven't had it for too long. The switch on the head feels a little cheap, but is a solid spray/stream. It keeps it's setting, so if you don't want to be surprised by spray, make sure you turn it back to stream before leaving the kitchen.

It installed very easily, though I did run into a bit of a problem aligning it at first. I didn't move the valve piece back far enough in the sink cutout, which led to the front of the assembly sticking up from the sink. Once I loosened and re-positioned, everything sat flush on the sink, and I haven't had any problems since.

This unit has plastic pipes going into the valve assembly instead of copper, and the pipes are very stiff. Make sure that you will have enough room to move the piping around a bit while you are installing it. I had to work around my supply pipes,...

vpetersleonard: I've installed a few faucets in my time, and this one was simply the easiest to do so! The look and simplicity of the design are second to none, and the locking MagnaTite pull-down faucet is very secure and easy to pull down, re-connect, and maneuver with plenty of length. I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a new faucet to replace their current one with. Note, the price on this one was over $100 less than Home Depot as well.

Just a couple points of constructive criticism and by no means a deal-breaker... Make sure to double-check the distance and placement for your hot and cold water supplies in relation to which pre-drilled hole in your counter top you intend to insert the control valve in.. One of mine was just in reach, but since the supply lines to the faucet are hard plastic, they don't have as much give and flexibility if you try to stretch these too far or connect at less than a 90 degree angle. The supply tubes look to be about 36" in length from the stem of the control valve underneath the sink to the supply connection. Should be more than ample enough for most installations. More flexible braided supply hoses might have been a better...
