The Delta Faucet Leland Single-Handle Touch Kitchen Sink Faucet is the perfect choice for any kitchen. With its Pull Down Sprayer, Touch2O and ShieldSpray Technology, Magnetic Docking Spray Head, and SpotShield Stainless finish, this faucet is designed to make your life easier. The built-in temp-sense LED indicator light changes color to reflect water temperature, while patented diamond seal technology helps reduce leak points. Shield spray technology cuts through even the toughest messes with a powerful stream of water. Installation is a breeze, and the range of colors available make it easy to match any décor. Samson Wick: It has been nearly four years since I purchased this faucet and after my recent interaction with Delta customer support, I felt I had to leave a review for it to explain why you should not hesitate to buy this faucet.
I won't spend a lot of time getting into features that you can read about on the product page. The flow handle works smoothly and the RED->BLUE temperature indicator is very helpful for avoiding unpleasant surprises. The touch control works as expected (with a couple of exceptions I'll detail below). So far it works as well as it did the day I bought it.
Due to some previous issues with my plumbing I elected to hire a professional plumber to come and install it for me so I can't say if it's easy to install. However I can say that the plumber was done in about 15 minutes and looked at me like I had wasted his time on something so simple, so there's that:)
When I installed this, the plumber predicted that the electrical valve would succumb to calcification and stop working in about 9 months. Four years later I haven't lost any water pressure and I'm still using the original valve.
I've had two interactions with Delta customer support for...

Molly: First, for context: I am not a plumber; before this product, I had never installed a faucet before (kitchen or otherwise); and no one would ever mistake me for having any kind of experience that would qualify me as anything other than a total and complete novice at installing faucets. That said, for the reasons below, I would recommend this faucet AND recommend a DIY installation.
I did a LOT of research and reading reviews before purchasing this Delta faucet (SpotShield Stainless). Our old kitchen sink faucet was another well-known and expensive brand (starts with "M"), but after just four years it kept coming loose from the countertop and then started leaking profusely. I was determined not to repeat that with a new faucet. I was a little hesitant about getting a "touch" faucet given the wide range of reviews on point, but after digging into things, I decided to go with this Delta "touch" faucet. A month into using it, here are my thoughts on the DIY installation and product itself:
1. DECIDING TO DO A DIY INSTALLATION
I decided to install the faucet myself for several reasons. Nothing against plumbers, but some reviewers suggested that installing this faucet...

Bamazon: There are 3 spray features: regular, multi.stream spray and the single jet spray with a water force field around it. Love that last feature for getting rid of those stuck on food pieces or dried gravy.
Keep in mind what ever setting you leave the spray on is what will come on next time to best to always switch back to regular. So many times I left it on spray and made water mess.
I love love this faucet with the pull out hose, soooo soooo easy to clean the sink or to fill my water filtering pitcher or to fill a pot on the counter.
I had a family friend install this so I wouldn’t know anything much about installing. But you can try to ask I’ll try my best.
It’s easy to clean and just looks beautiful.
I highly recommend it!

Aleisha Cline: I bought this in July 2016 and installed it in Sept. 2016 It has been a great tap however it has now been dripping since Sept 2019.
Maybe that is a the life span of the seal? I am hoping replacement of the seal is easy.

Oberon Robinson: As a professional home renovator, I have installed and used many different faucets over the years, and this is my favorite out of all that I've tried. I used to consider Delta a budget brand but this is a very high quality unit. I've had it in my own kitchen for over 2 years and have not had any of the issues that other reviewers have mentioned. I find it superbly well designed, the water control is easy and intuitive, the magnetic catch for the pulldown is a great feature, and the stream/spray switch is positive and stays where you leave it when you turn the water off and on again. Any faucet will have the occasional manufacturing defect, and if you are unlucky enough to have that experience I would encourage you to get it repaired under warranty rather than return it.

Jen: This faucet is very nice and looks great in my kitchen. It retracts well and is easy to keep clean Overall it works well but I did have to take one star away because when I switch from spray to solid stream water it drips a bit near the side when the water is on. If I press the switch harder it stops dripping.

Don Warkentin: Easy to install, looks great, and I love the magnetic clasp on the spray extension but there are a couple criticisms. I don't like having the lever on the right because, since I'm right-handed, I'm usually holding something in my right hand and have to reach over with my left. The second thing is that the faucet lever only shuts completely when it's centred between hot and cold.

Tony: DIYers be confident! Hardest part was the actual mounting. You have to put yourself into a small space in an extremely awkward position. Myself I was facing a dual sink, drain lines and disposal. The bracket that slides over the tube had flashing left inside and would not fit. I had to sand it smooth to get it to fit. The included wrench had a T handle which gets in the way when trying to tighten the nut. For some odd reason I could not get the wrench to fit over the nut while the bracket was in place. I believed it was the screws in the bracket that were in the way. I had to run the nut up by fingers only. Glad of the screws on the bracket at this point so I could get it tightened properly. The PEX water lines were way too stiff and very hard to get a nice curl. Overall, it's a nice faucet of great quality. Works great and looks nice too.
