Felix GabrielFelix Gabriel: The ink straight out of the bottle didn't work well for me I had to put a little bit of water for it to finally work properly. I bought this because it claimed to be marker proof and it is to an extent. Even though this is by far the best ink to use for markers it still smudges but rarely, but it is still far better then other brands I've used.

Kat: Great ink, super dark, can get a little less matte when applied with a brush but otherwise it's very matte. Dries pretty quick and was very waterproof. Didn't work great with a glass dip pen, I suspect due to it drying too quickly, but it worked great with a regular nib.
Washes off the pen super easily, not so much my had where I splashed it taking off the seal while opening. Took a couple tries to scrub it off but it did come off eventually.

paul d pope: I am constantly seeking out new white paints to use in drawing. This is perhaps the best out there today. Thin enough to paint over black ink (I use indelible black Yasutomo sumi), easy to apply further coats of black over the dried white paint. One caveat--it dries quickly, so test your speed and brush strokes before use.

Caitlin: Really nice jet-black matte ink at a reasonable price. It dries both waterproof and resistant to alcohol markers, which as great. So far it has performed well with every method/tool I've used: metal nib dip pen, glass dip pen, fine paintbrush.

GT: This ink works pretty well! It dries quickly, doesn't seem to smudge or lift easily, and is pretty dark. The container is, to be frank, not the best, but the ink itself is good; I wouldn't trust the container for any sort of travelling, though, and even with home use, I had one instance where some ink droplets sprayed out from the container, so you should take care when using this product. When diluted, this ink produces a really wonderful warm grey ink wash- I definitely want to experiment using it for washes in the near future.

Overall, although this is a great ink, I'll be honest that I don't think this ink is significantly better than Speedball's Super Black ink, which is cheaper where I live; it perhaps flowed slightly nicer and was a little more resistant to smudging, and tests seem to indicate that it is slightly darker than other ink options, but it doesn't provide significantly better performance relative to the price (which, for reference, could get you a large container of Speedball Super Black Ink where I live). Deleter #4 is a very good ink, but depending on where you live, it may not be the best value for your money.

RoseRose: Here’s my very first test run using this ink & my new dip pen.

PROS:
- Very opaque & dries quickly. Love the darkness of this ink.

CONS:
- Not so compatible with alcohol marker. I did different line variations with the ink, allowed it to dry 24h, then tested my caliart markers over the lines. They smudged almost instantly.

I am still quite new to using dip pens for manga art, but I think inking should be done after you color. You’ll also need a container of warm water beside you & soft paper towels to prevent the ink from drying up and clogging the ink flow on your nib. Definitely use a damp cloth to wipe the nib before you use the ink!

OVERALL: Worth the buy due to how fast it dries, opaqueness of the ink! This ink works really well with brush pens too, found myself not needing to dip the brush into the ink too often because of how much a small amount of ink could disperse on large spaces!

🧸H. Joe☠️Bauer🧸: Haven't really found this ink working for me . It's too watery and doesn't have very good integrity. By watery and integrity i mean it seems to form rivulets on the page when using it over certain mediums and it just didnt have the opacity of others I've used.
I think it would be fine for most if used on its own and on clean page, free from other mediums. Really, im just fussy, been making art for years and you get a bit like that eventually. 😏
