Tee: Got a set of these to replace some NiMH AAAs that were used in a personal massager. The batteries had reached the end of their life and wouldn't really hold a charge anymore. These are a marked improvement. With NiMH, they operate at 1.2V nominal, and the voltage slowly drops as they discharge so you could tell when they are getting low as the massager would go slower and slower. Alkalines are 1.5V but drop in the same way. These operate at 1.5V constantly until they are completely discharged, so there is no noticeable drop in speed/performance compared to other AAAs until they die. Also, since they are a newer technology for rechargeables, having the USB port on the side and cable hopefully prevents anyone from trying to put them on an older battery charger, although you take a hit in capacity to make room for the USB port. Will definitely be replacing my older rechargeables with these as they reach the end of their lives.

Zach Lies: I LOVE these batteries! I also love the idea of rechargeable batteries that don't need a bulky/proprietary charger. Great for travel or emergencies, as they can be charged from basically anything with a USB port; car, laptop, USB power bank, USB solar panel, etc. The first batteries of this type I bought were micro-usb, which while functional, were not my favorite (I've had too many devices "bricked" by worn-out/broken micro-USB ports). I did like that the micro-USB ones came with a 4-way splitter for charging, and was originally annoyed that these (and seemingly all other) USB-C ones were only offered with a pair of 2-way splitters. Then I put 2 and 2 and 2 together, so to speak. I realized that mostly what I used these batteries for was TV remotes, and most remotes take two batteries, and that most modern TV's have a USB port in back that sits empty. Now, I have a pair of these batteries plugged into the back of each of my TV's, and I always have spare batteries for my remotes...right where I need them! No more cluttered drawers, or bulky chargers using up counter space and AC outlets.
I haven't done back-to-back tests with other AAA batteries, rechargeable or otherwise, but...

Silvo: They were mostly what I wanted, USB-C rechargeable AAAs primarily for my small flashlights.
However, 1 only worked for a week or two, and would have to shake the flashlight to attempt to get it back on, plus the charging ring flashes rapidly. It was taken out of rotation.
So, I got 3 for the price of 4 I guess.

ExNYer72: I bought these for a flashlight that requires 2 AAA batteries. Given everything that I have read about and have experienced with other lithium battery products, I decided to give these a try. I should have known better just by looking at the price alone. Fully charged my flashlight would not run more than 15 minutes and it would just shut off. I don't know if lithium batteries are supposed to do this but when they run out of a charge, there's NO warning. Either way even if that is a characteristic versus NIMH or alkaline, I should get a lot longer runtime than 15 minutes. Do not buy these. These are going back.
