Decorative Bookends for Shelves - Add Style and Function to Your Library

S Jones: Really like the design but with a major project of notebooks to label and store, these are not sturdy enough for the larger (2-3") well packed binders! Will try to use gorilla glue tape and secure these to the shelves for that extra "umph" and am sure that will work...but a bit sturdier would have been nice.

Do recommend them--think the design removes some of the metal giving these a less sturdy but very attractive bookend. Should be excellent for smaller projects

TinaTina: I needed a solution for some custom sized shelves that I store my movie collection on (ok ok in reality they are just boards I mounted to the wall :p but it sounds so much better the other way).
I decided that bookends would be the the best solution but the options out there were larger, bulky, and quite frankly boring.
Then I found these, and the bonus of it was that there were 8 of them. These are decorative and flat (L shaped) which is apparently a complicated combo to find. They are also sturdy and lightweight. So I ordered them to test and they were perfect... and so pretty!
After testing the the first set I ordered another to finish it off.

philzophilzo: Great little product for the money. Decent weight. Holds up a History set and the works of Aristotle nicely. I have bought these more than once and will continue to recommend them. I really like the variety of designs they offer, but went with the tree design.
