Robert Bugner: Finally got to test these out, never used this type of product before. Work just fine after figuring out the best way to get a spark to land correctly. Fluff the end a little, press the rod vertically into it, and straight down. Used the tube to control the flame to prevent waste. I did find a firm surface to press the rod into the fluffed section using a short and inexpensive rod worked for me. 6 in a row once the technique was figured out.
