Amazon Customer: Coffee maker was easy to set up. Adding coffee and water is simple.
There's a small learning curve to figure out all the controls, but nothing difficult after doing it a few times.
Setting up the Profiles took a couple attempts, but we finally sorted it out.
The coffee temperature at 'max' is HOT, but drinkable. Adding cold milk or cream does cool it down.
We love the coffee this thing makes, but If you like VERY HOT coffee... this might not be the machine for you.

AdrianAdrian: The media could not be loaded.  After researching extensively which automated machine to go with the boil down to 2 to 3 decisions Two of them were specifically this brand and the third being Phillips after seeing that the quality was a bit better with De Longhi I said this is it. I’ve used the previous non touch screen version and was always amazed.

I opted for the Milk reservoir system for the ease of use so that way I did not have to physically steam the milk, and could continue focusing on other things throughout my day, thus letting it do the work on its own. Very simple intuitive easy to use and maintain, I would suggest watching some YouTube clips and reading the instructions should you have questions? I tend to use filtered water in my system, one can purchase the filter that you would place inside the water reservoir if you prefer.

You can customize your beverages from temperature to coffee strength as well. It also has a shoot for pre-ground being. Typically this is used for decaf, which has also been of benefit to me.

It is a little on the costly side, after doing my calculations of how much coffee I consume on an annual basis. In addition...

Debbie: I’m not really a coffee snob, so I’m probably not getting as much use out of this high priced machine as I should, but I do enjoy trying different beans, using the milk frother for macchiatos or cappucinos and adding espresso shots to my morning coffee when I need an extra boost. It took me a while to find the right settings so I loved the taste of the coffee as much as I did with my Keurig (I know!!), but I found I was just trying to make it too strong. This machine has a lot of customability, so I’m still playing with settings, but overall I’m happy with it. I do wish there was a way to install a water line so I can fill the tank faster and easier (we have to do this frequently), and we may end up drilling a hole and doing a DIY install. The other thing that bothers me is when there isn’t enough water in the tank or you cancel out of a selection, it will waste the coffee that was prepped for that cup, including the freshly ground and pre-ground coffee in the bypass. There should be a notification that there’s not enough water, but it just dispenses a tiny amount, wastes the rest of the coffee and asks you to fill the tank.

Yasmin Wagner: Habe die Maschine als "gebraucht akzeptabel" gekauft, verstehe nicht warum, da sie sowohl von der Funktion als auch der Optik einwandfrei ist. Die Bluetooth-Funktionen nutze ich nicht so oft, ich finde es aber toll eigene Rezepte und Einstellungen über die App vorzunehmen und sie theoretisch darüber bedienen zu können. Der Milchschaum ist ein Traum, das Fassungsvermögen des Bohnenbehälters ist spitze. Der Wasserbehälter könnte etwas größer sein, aber das auch nur weil ich ständig vergesse ihn zu füllen. Einziges Manko, wenn man das Wasser nicht aufgefüllt hat und ein Getränk mit Milchschaum ausgewählt hat, wird das nicht automatisch fortgesetzt, wenn man das Wasser nachgefüllt hat.

Brock: I've tested a few of the automatic coffee makers, including the Jura and the De'Longhi, including both the De'Longhi Dinamica and their Dinamica Plus. What is confusing is that Amazon groups BOTH the regular Dinamica and the Plus together in the same product page, so the reviews are mixed together. Make sure you read the review for the unit you are interested in as there are some big differences between the two.

The main difference is the price, which is usually about a $400 difference in price between the regular Dinamica and the Plus. In my opinion the Plus is worth the extra cash, and you'll be happy you spent the money as you use the machine often. The UI of the regular Dinamica is just horrible and confusing and it requires teaching each family member the oddities of it. In addition, figuring out the milk-to-coffee ratio for programming your own drinks is a guessing game in the regular Dinamica as there is no display of what is happening and you just have to press the "stop" button when you think it is correct. The Plus adds a touchscreen that visually shows you the drinks as well as an on screen display of the milk-to-coffee ratio so you can figure out what works for...

Amazon Kunde: Leider musste ich die erste Maschine retournieren, da es mir und auch der sehr freundlichen Dame vom Delonghi Kundendienst nicht möglich war, ein nach ca. 2 Wochen auftretendes Problem zu beheben.

Kurz zum Fehler/Defekt/Problem:
Beim Milk Clean war plötzlich deutlich hörbar ein Brummen/Summen zwischen den Spülungen zu hören, so als würde irgendwo im Gerät Spannung an einem Bauteil oder Schalter (?) anliegen.
Dieses Geräusch fiel auch sofort meiner Frau auf.
Zugleich nahmen auch Qualität und Temperatur des Milchschaums (Stufe 2) drastisch ab, und der erwartete Milchschaum kam nahezu flüssig heraus.

Ich habe mich daraufhin mit Amazon in Verbindung gesetzt, vom Problem und auch meinen bereits mit Delonghi geführten Telefonat berichtet.
Amazon war daraufhin so freundlich, und hat mir daraufhin eine Ersatzlieferung und einen Rücksende-Code für die defekte Maschine zugestellt.
Nun hoffen meine Frau und ich, dass dieser Fehler nicht erneut auftritt!

Da die Ersatzlieferung bereits gestern eintraf, habe ich diese daher sogleich in Betrieb genommen.
Gespannt lauschten meine Frau und ich dann der Maschine, als wir nach dem ersten Latte...

agathe: We've made over 450 coffees since buying this a few weeks into the coronavirus working from home era including about 200 coffees with milk and the machine has pretty much paid for itself already. Great quality, consistent, easy coffee. Cup after cup, they come out the same.

Key points:
* Consistently 4 to 4.5 out of 5 star coffee. You might find better coffee at a cafe sometimes but not consistently
* Miles ahead of nespresso - coffee is a dream in comparison and the milk is miles ahead of their frother
* Press a button, get great coffee - This is a big thing having lived with a manual machine. No-one chasing the expert in the house to make you a good coffee and it takes less time
* Spend the time to tune in the grind (only when the machine is actively grinding) and play with pour volume and milk volume settings and you can have perfect coffee consistently. Took me 20 shots pulled to get it right. Turn grinder half stop at a time
* Beans matter - have fun testing a few different ones. Do not use caramelised or funky ones - they gunk up the grinder
* The detachable, insulated milk jug has an attached steam element and the whole thing goes into the fridge...
