Rob0264: Bought this for a cruise where the drinks package was just too expensive. Also bought the nano adaptor so I can use it with nespresso capsules. Got it set up and running in less than 5 minutes! Perfect espresso (we love Caffe Borbonne Capsules) with a rich crema! Brilliant little gadget, easy to carry and best of all, simple to use!

Mauro: Comoda per quando si viaggia e non si ha a disposizione il fuoco per fare una moka.
Occorre portarsi dietro un thermos con acqua calda. Fa 1 caffè alla volta. Da abbinare al barista kit per fare due caffè a volta (o 1 caffè lungo) e avere pronte fino a 4 "cariche" di caffè!

AJ: After trying 3 brands of beans and numerous grinds I have found the ‘best’ that I can get out of this portable espresso maker. The quality is about the same as a Mr. Coffee espresso machine. It hits the mark but fails to impress.

Specifically, I can’t get more than 2-3 mm of crema while a high quality machine will get you 5-6 mm.

Pressure in the chamber is inconsistent; otherwise this is a cool little gadget with a great design.

MacFlyer84: This is a handy little espresso maker. However, to use this for travel using ground espresso is a very messy proposition. I’ll be using this on boats, RVs and motorcycle camping. I cannot imagine cleaning this up every time I make a small cup of espresso. If you’ve ever made espresso at home, you know one of the big factors in making a good cup of espresso is to find the perfect grind for your machine. I won’t be testing and testing to find that grind

I will be using the NS adapter with espresso pods. Much cleaner and easier to use. Unfortunately, this is how the machine should be sold in the first place. Not as an addition.

Está claro que este tipo de cafeteras son la única opción que hay para quien desea tomar café recién hecho en un lugar sin conexión eléctrica.

Ahora bien, teniendo en cuenta que es un aparato que se tiene que usar a mano y que ya es caro de por sí, me parece abusivo el precio del complemento para tomar cápsulas en lugar de café molido y del kit que debes comprar si deseas tomar un café medianamente largo, (de unos 140 ml), como pueda ser el que te haga una cafetera de cápsulas de las de enchufar.

Te vas a los 150€ fácilmente.

A todo ello añadir la cantidad de piezas que te van a sobrar una vez que la tengas como deseas, digamos con el adaptador de cápsulas y con el kit, (que es la única forma de conseguir el vaso de 140 ml).

No entiendo por qué no se vende simplemente el vaso, para quien sólo desee alargar el café, o el adaptador con el anillo, para quien sólo desee tomar cápsulas.

En fin, a todo ello hay que añadir que hay que hacer bastante fuerza. Yo compré la máquina para regalársela a mi mujer y resulta que le tengo que hacer yo los cafés porque ella no puede. Y a mí incluso me resulta...
