Michael Galpin: Used to strap down wife's mini bike for camping trip. Great that rolls up it on spool. MKe sure to roll up as far as you can before ratcheting. Make for easier undoing! 5 stars.

Emily Brus: I bought these as a gift for my father in-law, brother in-law, and husband. They were all intrigued by the idea of these. I think they work well and the concept is good behind them. It is nice to not have to secure the loose end of the rachet strap every time. That all being said, it is a little tricky to use at first. The part of the strap that holds the excess is kind of in the way when you are wanting to loosen the strap or tighten the strap. You have to roll up the strap by turning the nob which is fine but you have to watch what you're doing otherwise you get a mess on your hands. I would buy these again because I think they are handy and a good value. I think the 3 men like them as well.

Trevor wiens: Holy crap people! If your thinking of buying this I strongly recommend NOT! Crap construction, plastic shell. 3 of the racket straps where put in incorrectly, the 4th one was installed correctly, so I rewound the others like the forth, you still can’t ratchet it to a tight position. For us it’s a one time use to secure a gazebo for the winter, cut off in the spring, insert in the garbage or manufactures ass! I havnt decided yet. Have a good day!

Scott ChamberlainScott Chamberlain: I hate dealing with excess strap on tie downs and have destroyed some in the past even after carefully tying off the excess, so these straps with a built in spool are a fantastic idea. I've only used them a handful of times so far so I can't speak to their durability but they work exactly as advertised and are easy to use. I also like that the spool makes it easy to wind up the strap to make a small bundle for storage. I don't really understand why some others here have had issues with them. Seems like maybe they haven't used standard ratchet straps before or are the people in black and white on "as seen on TV" ads who manage to strangle themselves with a garden hose while trying to water the lawn.
