I made a fried egg to put on an English muffin first, very quick and easy. I'm not sure if this will hold two eggs, that might overflow it especially if they are large or extra large eggs.

After that I tried a modified version of the potato pancake recipe that came in the recipe book provided. My recipe became: One medium russet potato, shredded. One small onion, diced. One egg. A spoonful of bread crumbs (I'm out of flour), salt, pepper, chili powder. Mixed it all up and cooked it on this. Worked great! Well browned on both sides, cooked in just a few minutes. The non-stick coating is non-stick - I only wipe it with oil when I clean it.

I also confirmed it only uses 350 watts. So it would be possible to run this on a battery box (jackery or ecoflow for example), or even on a power inverter in a car or RV. It does get fairly hot though, so you'll probably want to run it on something that won't easily burn -- like a counter or tray.

Krykie: I got this for my older mother who lives alone. Technically, she can still cook, but often it's too much trouble. This thing is AWESOME for her. She doesn't have to get out a pan, put a pan on the stove, select the heat, wait for it to heat, pay attention to the time to cook an egg, turn of the heat, get the egg out of the pan, move the pan to the sink, wash the pan, put the pan away.... NOW she plugs it in and if she gets distracted while waiting for it to heat -- no danger. She plops in an egg, it cooks to the perfect temperature without her having to think about it, and it wipes clean with a towel. Lightweight, easy to use. She loves it. She makes regular eggs, and was excited to have made a Denver sandwich the other day -- something not easily done for her on a regular pan (her grip strength and agility isn't what it used to be). PERFECT because now she likes to cook eggs -- and she needs to eat all the protein she can...

Mz^Reonna: I love this mini griddle! I have had it for about a month now. I use it almost every day or multiple times a week. It makes making breakfast a lot faster. My only concern is that there sometimes is not a even cook between the bottom and top. The bottom seems to cook faster than the top. It's not a huge deal. I just flip my pancake halfway through to try and have an even cook. Everything else cooks fine. I plan to buy the mini waffle maker next.

This little dude can make keto pancakes in no time, and eggs, and I hecking put my cut up breakfast sausage in it too. In fact I've put whatever else I wanted to crisp quickly, in this little dude. it works fast, and very well and it hasn't actually burned anything yet. definitely the best 10$ I've spent this year hands down. I've also used it to toast sandwiches and bread rolls cut in half because it's much faster than turning on a frying pan.

Bobbie: There’s only me so it’s a perfect size. I received my mini grill yesterday and tried it out tonight for the first time. I watched a few utube videos to see how to fry an egg. It was advertised as nonstick and the videos said you can spray with pam or a little butter but not necessary. The video showed it just sliding off the griddle onto your plate. Well i fried the egg as is and it stuck to pan so bad a spatula wouldn’t even go under it. It left a mess to clean off grill. Im sure I’ll love it with practice but i will use a spray next time.
