I purchased this waffle iron during Amazon's Black Friday shopping deals. Deals were only offered for the gray ones, which I was pleasantly surprised at how attractive the appliance was when I opened it. This waffle maker made beautiful, browned waffles that were crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside. A red light comes on while the iron is heating, then the light switches to green when the appliance is ready. Pour in your waffle batter, lower the lid, wait for the light to turn green, and your waffle is done. There is no temperature control for this waffle maker which is typical for a Dash appliance. We like our waffles a little crispier, so I left the lid down longer. All I used was Great Value Complete Pancake and Waffle mix made to package directions. I oiled the iron using standard cooking oil and a silicone pastry brush as suggested in the waffle iron's directions, and had no problem with the waffle sticking to the lid or the bottom. I bought this because my children were eating frozen waffles every morning and the price just kept going up, so I wanted to be able to make my own and freeze for the week. I love that I'm not making 1 waffle at a time and they're pretty good sized waffles. They're bigger and thicker than eggos. The only thing I would love to see different is for the plates to come off for washing it. I would definitely recommend it.

After several uses we really like this waffle maker. Waffles come out great every time. It heats up quickly and the light goes green when they are done or pretty close to it. The two negatives is that it is large, but it does make four waffles and has the drip trays, and the other is that the plasticky cover seems somewhat cheap. But the cover is not too hot to handle and it's easy to clean. Instructions are very good and it includes recipes... some interesting ones.

I did a lot of research before buying this waffle-maker. We have had it for months, and using it at least once a week if not more, and it is working perfectly. We make wheat and dairy free waffles in it with no issues. Waffles are ready in 5 minutes, 6 if you like them very crispy. Love that the waffles are square (maximizing the waffle size), and that it makes 4 waffles at once (minimizing fights over who gets one first). Clean up is easy too, just wipe with a wet cloth. I do find that a very light spray of oil on the bottom tray helps release the waffle more easily. I would definitely buy this again, although it seems so sturdy that I am sure it will last us many years to come.

Me encantoooooo. Solo limpiarla que es tedioso. La limpio con servilletas húmedas y listo. Adore lo que tiene a los lados para recoger la masa que sobra. Luego la vuelvo a poner en la wafflera y quedan como dedos de Waffle 🧇 de verdad la mejor!! Me encanta DASH. Ya tenía la mini pero necesitaba una para poder hacer en cantidad sin ir uno por uno y esta fue la mejor decisión. Estoy feliz por mi compra!
