My big dog wears one to stop his pulling, works great, but my big dog likes to bite my little dog on the neck, so I bought this, turned it inside out so the spikes face outward, which stops big dog from chewing on little dog excellent!!

First of all it was too big for my dog, she freaked out and got loose and I had to chase her around the yard. I returned it to Amazon, got my refund. Now months later Amazon claims they never got the collar and I’m getting charged for an item I’ve already returned. Scam!!!

I’ve used prong collars for a while and this one is not recommended. It digs in to my dog’s neck and hurts her. A prong collar should only apply pressure but not pain. This one is really not good at all.

Our dogs just happened to have their yearly checkup the day I received this order from Amazon. Well, our vet's office was HORRIFIED when we mentioned we'd bought a pinch collar and pretty much DEMANDED that we immediately throw it away! They ranted for 10 minutes about how they cripple dogs with spinal injuries (like chain choke collars, which I knew already) and that these things resulted in throat, esophageal and other injuries and could easily lead to dogs DYING! OMG, I had no idea! My husband asked, if they were so bad, why are they still being sold? The answer is: manufacturers have lobbyists they PAY to fight for them in Washington. Duh. Money talks! It takes years and years to get something off the market once it's ON the market! I was so upset by this I didn't know what to do except come home and write this review. Once I took a picture of it, I threw it in the trash, not even returning it so someone else may end up with a dead dog. Please spread the word and don't use these!
