Went camping first time with my puppy and this was a perfect tool. Length was fitting to our set up at the site, color was visible and was very sturdy, especially when the pupp saw a squirrel and tried to run after it….. easy to use. Didn’t get rusty with all the mist and dirt and sun that whole weekend.

Pretty good longevity on both.
Cable just broke but I have been using it for 18mo+. I kept cable indoors between uses.
Stake is still going. This has been in the ground the entire time
