Patricia Argudín: Exactamente como se describe, me pareció de un tamaño súper práctico, suficiente como para que quepan muchos hilos pero también transportarlo fácil y, como siempre, llegó antes de tiempo 🙌🏻

Anika: Has so much room for all of my embroidery floss but the bobbins are fairly flimsy, most likely won’t hold up over time.

Jody M: Bought this for my niece to go with a friendship bracelet kit and a huge supply of embroidery floss for making bracelets. She was happy to have a place to store all her colours and her mom was happy that this storage would help her to prevent her floss from tangling. It is fairly well made, but it is plastic and I imagine it could still crack or break if abused.

RainbowEyes: The organizer is great and can hold 80 full bobbins of floss, plus the long compartment for embroidery scissors, seam ripper, and whatever other accessories.

The bobbin winder is great, if you give the base a little something extra to grip onto. I fold up a small piece of a paper towel, fold it in half over where I want to put the winder on, then push the base slot down onto it. Gives it extra grip so it will stay put all through a winding session.

That being said, not a fan of the paper bobbins. Too flimsy. I just got the plastic ones, and gave the paper ones to a friend starting out who didn’t mind using them. The plastic bobbins work great with the winder.

Al167: This box is great for organizing embroidery thread. It has a good lid that snaps shut and one larger compartment on the right side I use to store my embroidery scissors and a floss winder. As another reviewer mentioned, the bobbins included with the box didn’t work with my winder (the holes don’t match up) but they are fine for hand winding.

2Debbie NJ USA: Update October 23, 2020: I'm in and out of these boxes constantly. They are still holding up really well. I've had no problems. The plastic bobbins that came with each box worked out great as well. Yes, you need to purchase more bobbins as the box holds at least twice as many bobbins than the 50 that were included. Still very happy with the purchase.

Purchased November 6, 2019 - Pricing was great and this worked great for storage for my DMC Floss bobbins. I highly recommend them for that purpose.
I wish I could find ones about half this size that I can outfit for individual projects. Have not found them yet (at a good price) but still looking.

Ayesha: Perfect for embroidery stuff

Amazon Customer: Awesome price!! Obviously not going to be the highest quality, but it holds thread and stays closed--that's all I really care about! The plastic is thick enough that I don't have to worry about the hinges or box snapping/cracking. The latch is sometimes hard to close, so you might need to really push down. Definitely will not pop open, though! Love the plastic bobbins, and they fit perfectly in the compartments. There is a longer compartment on the left, so I can store my bigger rolls of thread and embroidery scissors. I bought two of these and they were exactly what I needed. Highly recommend, and the price cannot be beat.

Autumn Grace: This is a good-sized plastic box with multiple compartments for storing and organizing your embroidery floss. It comes with a pack of 50 plastic bobbins, which you can wrap your embroidery thread around. (Note that these are embroidery bobbins, NOT sewing bobbins. They are small, flat squares.)

It's time consuming to untangle your skeins of floss after washing them, and then to wind the thread around the bobbins. They do make a winder, which is supposed to make this job easier, but I haven't tried it. I spent about two hours and only managed to produce about 16 filled bobbins. But, the good news is, now I have a variety of bobbins that are neatly wound and organized! It makes it very simple to glance in the box and grab the colors I need.

My only complaint is that if you don't completely fill each compartment with bobbins, they tend to fall over. When they fall over, they stack on top of each other, so you can't see the ones underneath. The solution is easy, just fill each compartment all the way. I didn't, because I wanted to separate my bobbins by color---one compartment for purples, one for aquas, one for blues, etc. I guess I just need to order...

Rae Harvey: This is such a versatile storage solution for crafters and hobbyists that I immediately began wishing I'd ordered a few more at the same time.

As a storage box for floss, it works exactly as it should. The only drawback, as mentioned by others, is that I agree it does not come with enough bobbins. In my case, that's not much of an issue as I did end up buying more of these cases and since I wasn't using them for floss, those bobbins were there for my use with the first case.

I have another of these set up with larger beads. It's not suitable for extremely small beads as any tilting of the case will end up allowing them to move between compartments, but it was ideal for the many 1/2cm beads I had stuck in a drawer in small baggies.

Still another is holding brads and flourishes for my scrapbooking. I have another one that I actually did end up using the bobbins from... but it's holding "scrap" ribbon (short lengths of 1" to 12" or so), each scrap wrapped on its own bobbin and secured with a small piece of tape.

I have two more that I'm using for buttons, divided by color and finish. I like to do button crafts, but digging through a...
