chantaldespoir: This is an OUTSTANDING embossing folder. First, the design is beautiful and elegant. This is definitely a statement piece. It embosses beautifully on 65 lb and 110 lb cardstock (haven't tried others). But what sends this embossing folder over the top is that the way it is designed, if you are careful, you can emboss a complete 8.5 x 11 inch sheet and connect the swirls -- without showing the overlap (takes a minor bit of finicky lining up). On just the first day of use, I have already used this embossing folder more than any other I own. The design works for any occasion or holiday. It is gorgeous!

Tammyn5: Really fun embossing folder that is so perfect for birthdays or many other occasions. If you use white core cardstock...it looks great when you sand it with some standard sanding paper... after you emboss it, to give the images a little pop. You can also ink up the embossing folder before you put your paper in (A brayer works best for this, but you can also use a sponge....be sure to wipe off any ink that goes in bigger blank spots that you don't want ink) and then run it through your embossing machine (Like a big shot or cuttlebug). That will give you a great colored image. This is such a great set because you can use just the bottom part and use if for a graduation or a Christmas or other celebration. You can even emboss and then cut out some of the images from it to use on a card or scrapbook page. There is so much you can do with this embossing folder that I am sure it will quickly become one of my favorite embossing folders. This is a set I would highly recommend, especially if you do alot of cards for family and / or friends.

Em: Darice's embossing folders are cute, and usually well priced but in retrospect I think I paid too much on Amazon. Jo-Ann's always has sales and/or coupons so I can normally get them for $2 there. I took away one star because the edging around the design is kind of wide, and depending on how well you're able to arrange the paper inside it can make pretty noticeable gap in the edges of the design on the paper. Make sure you get it in there as straight as possible, and decide which side you want the gap on because there will be one.
