Ordered some emergency dry yeast through Amazon for the first time. Got it the next day with Prime and it was already going late that night. Beer Saved

Steelkatana3: Has done well with my brewing tho the alcohol tolerance says 14 haven't got around that yet, but I'm pretty sure it's my fault. lol haven't had any of my brews fail and they taste pretty good.

Terry Brow: Quick start ferment, we’ll flocculating yeast. English style in general. Seems to be an excellent Irish Red Ale combo- probably has become my go-to yeast for Irish Red. Settles down well post fermentation. Very little comes through the racking tube when bottling. I brew 7-10 days in primary / two weeks in secondary, so that helps settle yeast out, too. Buy soon, buy often!

pdh: Danstar Nottingham is far and away the best dry yeast that I've used in my 30 years of homebrewing, for pretty much any style of beer. As long as you can keep the temperature below 72 (preferably mid-60's), it's fantastic. At slightly higher temps, into the mid-70's, it's still very good. (The manufacturer recommends 68 degrees maximum.) I don't even have to think about yeast anymore when I brew: this is the only one I use.

DaCavasi: Danstar Nottingham is my go-to all-purpose ale yeast, this stuff has excellent attenuation and flocculation, and works quickly to boot! I've actually used Nottingham as a backup when dealing with stuck fermentations using other yeasts, and on many occasions the Nottingham restarted the ferment and finished off with no issues. Has a fairly neutral flavor profile and high alcohol tolerance. Great general-purpose ale yeast to have in the fridge when needed, and this vendor's pricing is very competitive!
