I actually kept my old ugly one on and put this one over it so there would be a bit more padding. It works perfectly! MissB: Love this pattern and it looks great in my sewing room. Cover seems durable, with enough padding to last. It was really tough to get on the board due to the strong elastic. I did buy more durable clips ($6) as the ones that came with it were whimpy. All in all a really nice cover for the price.

Laurelee: This cover for my Roenta wide iron board. It was a little to long at the front but I just tucked it in. I love it the material is excellent and it makes me love to iron. I couldn’t be more happy with it. It is my best ironing board cover ever and I’m 80 years old so I have had several.

The pad is nice and thick and the fits perfectly on my my older style ironing board with the elastic fasteners ensuring it stays in place.
I actually needed help pulling it around the edges thinking I may have ordered a size too small but no, the standard 54" length was the right size.

movielover: Thought it would be a touch thicker but better than what I had used before. Nice tight fit, straps don't seem necessary and need to get around the sliding leg mechanism. Hopefully I remember to update after I've used it awhile

SFM_K: Fitting our old ironing board very well. The measurements given are correct. Easy to install. And the cover stays on well. The cover material is also thick enough. We don't use the extra protective mesh cloth, so cannot comment on that. The cover is really good !!
