The size is right. The 'pearls' keep their color. The stretchy cord is flexible and strong.
Chelsea's been wearing hers for several months now, and to my pleasant surprise the cord hasn't yet broken.
The only con is that the pearls will grab hair that is long enough to get up between them. Chels scratches infrequently when this happens.
Chels gets compliments on it all of the time. Zero exaggeration.

I bought this collar for my one of my dogs who has long, fine hair. When I used regular collars on her, her hair would get tangled or matted. I needed something that had more slip to it, so I looked into satin collars, but there weren't any good options, so I purchased this collar.
Not only does it look great on her, but she's comfortable wearing it and she's able to be active without it bothering her. I can't say how durable it is because we've only had it for a week. My dog weighs 11 lbs and I got the collar in a 9 inch size so it's not tight around her neck with all of her hair, and I'm also able to slip it on and off her head without causing her discomfort.

Product is exactly what I thought it would be. It is a “bling” collar for a miniature dachshund and not a collar for a leash and walking. If it breaks, so be it.
